Everyone knows the weather situation, and it still sells out. Why change?
The weather isn't much different so whatever. It's summer in New York, it's going to thunderstorm and it's going to torrentially downpour, just a part of summer festivals. Dance in it
Cancellations suck and so does rain when under 70 degrees, but it is what it is.
Agreed....people complaining cause Panorama is too hot in July...complain that the chance of rain is too high in June...it is an outdoor music festival in NYC...be happy to have one, hope for the best, plan for the worst and enjoy!

I dunno - "Hey, they've had at least some inclement weather the past three years running, including an outright cancellation of a day, and overall weather patterns are changing due to climate change, so maybe it'd make sense to move to a generally drier time of the month/season" doesn't strike me as all that harsh of a complaint.

Hurricane season is why III Points moved from October to February, so I agree completely.

True true.....I guess to me the weather is fickle and just does whatever it wants whenever it wants....let's just keep hoping for a positive outlook this weekend!

That breaks my heart if Wolf Alice had a tiny crowd. Tickets are still available for their afterdark show on Sunday. Still on the fence if I should go.
Tiny crowds for YYYs and Jack White, I easily moved to the front almost rail for both sets! Both were great, but the best act of the day goes to YYYs .. Tash Sultana set was also great, small crowd but really into her.
My top 5 acts of Friday:
1.YYYs 2.Tash Sultana 3.Jack White 4.Alvvays 5.Wolf Alice (Missed Pond set)
Due to work and traffic, etc. We didn't get there till 6ish. YYY's was empty but fun. Boy did Jack White empty out, but I got close! Hell of a show. Saw bits of Post Malone, Damien Marley, and The Glitch Mob. Parts of Jack White was bleeding into James Blake and that's why we left the set early. He was good though.
