Yeah, I’d expect them to drop a “full line up will be announced on...” message one week prior. But if they decide to just TELL US EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW... I’d be cool with that too.

Bill Callahan has been playing a little lately.

Plus, his "hand-picked" opener has been Nathan Bowls from the Twigs. Would make a good seamless set at the Bijou...

At first glance I read that as Jason Mraz and got really excited for a second lol

Mraz did a surprise opening set at one of the tents in '16. People were pumped. I skipped it for Anderson East.

More importantly, both James Brown and Neil & Crazy Horse played '03.

WHAT DOES A GUY HAVE TO DO TO GET A COMPLETE LINE-UP AROUND HERE?!!?

... though by my guestimate we probably have 30% - 40% of the total initial line-up so far... that's a lot of teasing this year, I tell you what.

Of the work I've heard, I recommend "Black Stars", with Sam Rivers.

Grizzly Bear just canceled their Knoxville show. Maybe?

I can’t like this enough.

E: Even though that gets my hopes up, the chances are not raised that high, I don’t think. The lineup has been booked and this wouldn’t be a small addition. If they are on there, it’s because they were to begin with.

And was replaced by Grizzly Bear?

While I could see it happening, they are in AUS till the week before BE. I’m not completely sold on this idea of canceling a show so they could play the festival months after the show was announced.

That said, I hope I’m wrong. It just feels odd they said “two weeks or less” and that was a month ago.
