So my wife and mother felt horrible that I was canceling this and surprised me with a GA ticket. Rebooked a cheap hotel and now counting the days. After pretty much having my life on hold the past month, I’m excited.

I really wanted to do this, but I can only attend Saturday & Sunday and the flight tickets from LAX is around $700! Hopefully next year.

Knoxville is crazy expensive to fly into. For anyone coming from a distance, I always recommend checking Nashville/Atlanta especially if you know someone who lives there. The amount you save on your flight can offset the cost of a rental on many occasions.

I never doubted seeing you for a single second. Also, evidently Dave Maynar will pick up any of you from either the Atlanta or Nashville airports. Serious note: Don't sleep on Asheville airport. Sometimes they have sneaky good deals.
Sun. would be my favorite day. I don't know a lot on Fri. and Sat. Thur. is all about GYBE.
What's the best stuff on Sunday? I get out of classes for spring break that weekend and want to come up to see Lucius & that day, but idk what else I would see besides those two and I don't have enough money to justify $70 and travel just for a Lucius festival set lol

This but you left off the Four Tet/Mats Gustafsson colab. I was fortunate enough to see the collaboration with Steve Reid (at Langarado of all places) and it was impressive how well he weaves in and out.

You’re fine, I’m sure. I noticed this at the bottom of my order confirmation-
Delayed - Standard Mail - Your tickets will be mailed to your billing address. Big Ears festival passes will be shipped in early March, 2018.

I'm excited for all of the avant-garde films being shown this year! I think I'll be spending a lot more time in that segment of the festival than I have years past.

However many years I’ve said this, it never happens for me. I wish you luck. There are some exciting names in there.
Also: thank goodness for Inforoo safe spaces. People think I listen to weird because I wanna be hip. Truth is that I just hate people. Thanks for not sucking so much, you guys.
