Doing the next day with Mats Gustafsson for sure. I’m actually living in The Mill and Mine that day.
Steve Gunn + BTP are a more rare show, imo. I tend to go with stuff I haven’t seen or won’t have another opportunity to. I’ve seen both before and Four Tet is the way to go if people haven’t seen him. That light show looks amazing though.
Wait. Can I buy alcohol after 2 AM there? I may have hit a glitch in my plan.
I think it's three. abrakapokus would know being a bartender and all.
I may just bring a cooler and stock it Saturday morning. If I park in the lot across from the venue, I may just pretend I’m 18 again and do it in my car between sets.
Two conflicts that I'm wavering on... what would you choose?
The Thing vs. Susanna (w/ Pessi, Halti, Mize, and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy). Kid Koala's Satellite (I know this is happening other times, but Saturday is the only slot that possibly works) vs. Polyester (the kicker here is that they're going to distribute the Odorama cards to the first 100 attendees!!!)
Can’t say which is more important on the second conflict but the first, I’m doing Susanna and catching Gustafsson the next day with Four Tet.
Obviously, this is the new Four Tet show after I decided to skip his solo set.
Good news is I don’t have to skip Four Tet now. The bad news is I’m fucked for everything else.
I lost Susan Alcorn, Jaga Jazzist, The Thing, Rushes Ensemble, Marc Ribot's Ceramic Dog, Hebdan & Gustafsson, and Lightning Bolt... and gained Arto Lindsay, Jon Gibson's "Visitations", Alice Coltrane, Polyester (Film), Extra Terrestrial (Film), Part of Kelly Lee Owens, and Peter Evans Ensemble.

I need to make a full list but “Visitations” into Gas is incredible.
And it’s nice to see Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy added (even as a special guest) to Susanna’s set.
I have to work Thursday but am pretty open outside of that.
Ditto
Because of the film schedule, I probably won't be able to make a brunch (I'm really happy they are starting the films early; that was one of my biggest pieces of feedback on last year's survey)... but I always fill my calendar to 100% and end up making it to 50% of my picks... so who knows! Hope to see everyone throughout the weekend, regardless!

I feel like I used to get this answer a lot when I used to date.

First few thoughts for lunch are Chivo and Bistro at the Bijou on Gay and Stock and Barrel on Market Square. All three are convenient to the festival and semi swanky. garageland, if you want to break up hotel breakfast with diner breakfast, Pete's can't be beat.
