Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
1) This is not an original picture. You are remaking or rebooting a movie that has already been made.
2) There will be twelve rounds of drafting filling the following roles:
Name of film. (Required.) Include synopsis with any relevant changes that you would like to share. (Feel free to use IMDB's. Let's keep it to no more than a paragraph.)
Director. (Required.) If you are selecting a directing team that has an established history of codirecting three or more films, they count as one selection. If they have a less established history, they will need to be selected separately.
Cast (Required.)
Optional: Score composer, soundtrack artist(s) remaking a song or songs from the original, screenwriting reworking the script, key grip, best boy, cinematographer, etc. Each counts as one selection.
3) Once someone (or something) has been drafted, they are unavailable for anyone else in any capacity.
4) All draftees must be currently active:
Alive
Have a listed IMDB credit in the last five years or in the upcoming two years
Must not have a credibly documented retirement
Must not have a documented history with the project that would make their participation in the film unlikely
5) Snake draft
6) Draft order determined by random.org
7) Disputes handled via poll. Disputes must be submitted to Dan808 via DM. Upon his confirming receipt of request, a poll will be put up and run for six hours. Polls can run seven days a week but no poll will start before 9AM or after 9PM Eastern. Drafting will continue while the poll is running.
8) Trades are allowed.
9) Winners decided via poll in rounds of 12, 6 and 3. 48 hours each. Polls can run seven days a week but no poll will start before 9AM or after 9PM Eastern. Results hidden until the polls are complete. (In the event of a tie, both parties move on to the next round.)
10) The movie is being made in the relative present. (I.e., we are not making a movie in the 20's but it can be a movie from the 20's that you are remaking.)
11) Twenty participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis with the exceptions of NothingButFlowers and Dad Dog who have already committed in another thread. And me.
12) Any rule changes prior to the start of the draft will be decided by me and updated in the OP.
13) Any rule changes after the start of the draft will require a supermajority of participant votes (thirteen) in favor prior to adoption. (I will abstain from voting in rule changes.)
14) Each participant has a maximum of twenty-four hours for their pick. Once this window is up, the next participant is on the clock and the draft will resume as normal. The person with the lapsed pick can make their selection from anyone currently available when ready.
15) In the event that this draft is still ongoing during Bonnaroo, it will be suspended at 11:59 PM Eastern on Monday, June 5, and will resume at 9:00 AM Eastern on Tuesday, June 13.
16) Locations are not draftable.
17) Once an individual has been drafted, their role must be designated. If being used for multiple roles, each role would be considered a draft pick. (E.g., Say Tom Pink is drafted in the first round and then designated as the director of the film. If they are also going to be designated as an actor in the film, this would need to be "drafted" in a subsequent round.)
18) If you are drafting a remake as your film to be remade, previous iterations of the film are still fair game. Subsequent ones are not.
