If someone drafts Clint Eastwood the director, do they also get Clint Eastwood the actor? Or is their an exclusive claus regardless. And does the person that drafted him as a director also get him as the actor or do they have to redraft him again?
I'm just saying, there were issues with the rules for the festival draft not being clear, and I can see the same issue here.
3) Once someone (or something) has been drafted, they are unavailable for anyone else in any capacity.
I think this is pretty clear. Also, if someone drafts Clint Eastwood and wants him to direct and star in the film, I don't see why not, it's not like anyone else could take him anyways. There would be no re-drafting as once someone/something is off the board, it's gone.

If they get Clint Eastwood the director, no one else can draft him as an actor (or anything else). That's clearly covered by the rules.

Whether that same person can indicate that Clint Eastwood will also be playing a starring role does not seem to be directly addressed in the rules, but I would think that they would have to draft him separately to have him in a specific acting role. Otherwise, that person would be getting an extra actor.

Okay actually this does make sense, I didn't think of it as an extra spot.
I dont think there are really that many draft able actor/director double threats, so I think it should be pretty easy to avoid having Braff/Eastwood/Affleck doing everything, if you wanted to do both I think you should have to lose an actor spot. Writing/Directing I think would be a little more varied, but still you shouldnt get an extra actor out of it just because of your writer or whatever.
Also, I don't want to give the impression I consider those guys to be as good as Braff, I was just listing examples.

If I want to draft someone for multiple roles, do I draft them once or multiple times? I want to recreate Jack and Jill, except this time every character is Adam Sandler.
Do we still need one more person? Come on I'm impatient AF right now.
We're at 17 right now, but cdevaney said he was going to go ahead and lock it up after he puts his kid to bed tonight. I don't have kids, so I don't know what time they go to bed, but I was hoping it was like 6:00 p.m. because I am pretty antsy to get started myself.

Drafts should be an even number, so we need one more before we start if we only have 17 now.

For voting, he's just setting it up as a poll where the top however many vote-getters will move on to the next round, so I don't think it really matters whether there's an even number or not.
I'll join if it's need. Although again I warn I barley know movies.
You should join anyway. You really only need to know one movie and a few actors. And it's all in fun anyway. I mean, I hardly know any current musicians and I managed to do the lineup draft.
If someone drafts Clint Eastwood to be their director, he should just be off the table for any other role for anyone in my opinion.
Even the person who drafts him? I wouldn't do it because it seems like a waste to me, but I don't see any reason why the person who drafted him as director couldn't also cast him in a role.
He definitely is off the table for everyone else. That's been clear from the start.

You've convinced me. I'm in. I'll still do my polling commitment as well.

Drafting someone should give you the right to use that person in any way you see fit. If they have multiple talents you should be able to use them. Requiring someone to draft a person multiple times to use in different positions doesn't add anything to the game, it'll just make it more tedious

I wish I could have used Bill Murray in multiple ways...

But if you draft someone and say, "this person is going to be the director and the lead actor and do the score," and then you go on to draft your remaining 11 picks, you've basically gotten two more picks than everyone else. That doesn't seem fair to me.

Since this draft pretty much puts you in the role of the producer it's not realistic either. Actor/writer/director are all above the line roles which typically account for your top creative people and a lot of your box office drawing power.
They're also different budgetary and union requirements to be considered unless you are working outside the system on a true independent film, which none of these are going to be.
