Is there any reason to think that Shaky Knees won't come back in 2018? They haven't released dates for next year or any other details, which I believe in past years they've had announcements by now. Loved my first experience there, and hoping to go back next year.

I'm assuming they're holding out on releasing info until they nail down a new location, assuming that they are not doing it at centennial again next year (fingers crossed).

For the 2015 fest they didn't release dates until November and announced location two days before the lineup announcement so I wouldn't worry yet.
Sweetwood is going to announce a new festival venture tomorrow.
Edit: found it, from Sweetwood's facebook page -
Be on the look out tomorrow for a new festival and concept we have been working hard on.....
A fourth Shaky festival I guess, if that's the case then we'll probably get dates and locations for all of them that are happening next year. Are they getting rid of Shaky Beats then? Attendance was fine this year but I guess they can't book the Chainsmokers again.

Yeah def won't see arcade fire or bon iver. Small bands i wouldn't discount [edit: playing in atlanta 6-8 months later] but bon iver is touring globally all the time so def out.
Side note: got to see arcade fire at lakewood a few years back, really fun show. Apparently they told people to dress up for it too; saw a bunch of people in costumes.

I'll throw this in here- friend of mine saw Manchester Orchestra a few nights ago and talked to them after the show and they said they're playing Shaky Knees and 'a bunch of other fests'
