Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Fleet Foxes Courtney Barnett Lord Huron Matt and Kim Franz Ferdinand The Voidz Andre WK Tenacious D (live show supposedly awesome?) David Byrne (heavily depends on what his setlists are like this year.. give me that Talking Heads stuff please) Who I'll most likely see:
Jack White (I admittedly haven't listened to much of his solo stuff) The National Queens of the Stone Age The War on Drugs Japandroids Alvvays Sir Sly Bayonne Post Animal Chicano Batman
Might pop in for one song:
Jimmy Eat World (lol)
Not sure if I'd rather sit through Jimmy eat world or third eye blind again
I'd go to Jimmy Eat World much like I went to Shaggy at Hangout: for a laugh.
Personally I'm a little surprised they're even playing at SK. I always got a "Vans warped tour" vibe from them.
Well, my plan was to go to The National's fest, but my wife came home and decided that wasn't her plan. Her plan, after seeing this lineup, was to drive to Atlanta instead, so you'll see me posting on this thread from here on out. ... We'll be staying at the Aloft Hotel. Looking at this lineup a little more, I think my wife made the right call!

Your wife is your actual better half
I didn’t really put up a fight, though, especially after she started naming off some of the acts. ...

everyone I would like to see, albeit with inevitable conflicts:
Jack White QOTSA (for shits n giggles) The National Tenacious D Fleet Foxes The War on Drugs Vance Joy (maybe. really liked him, saw him once, wasn't super impressed or disappointed. just average) Cake Courtney Barnett Night Sweats (they killed it at Music Midtown 2016 in the rain) Lord Huron Manchester Orchestra Japandroids The Voidz (fuck. yes.) BRMC Black Angels Alvvays Parquet Courts Circa Survive (maybe) Sir Sly The Menzingers Broncho The Frights Bully (just saw them for the third time at T-West, killed it as always) Charly Bliss (saw them open for Glass Animals at Buckhead in 2015, missed them last year to see Billy Joel) Post Animal
anybody got any recommendations of acts I should see? it'll be a jam packed weekend with not a lot of in-between time, but I'm always open to new music.
also, initially I said this lineup was weak, but that's only because there's no one that makes me go DAMN like The Strokes/Avett/Tame in 2015 (really the whole '15 lineup), Wolf Alice/Vaccines/Front Bottoms/Florence/Foals/Silversun Pickups in '16, or Cage/PTM/Temples/Rainbow Kitten Surprise/Twin Peaks/Lewis Del Mar last year. it's solid though. a lot of solid acts. but I recently turned 21 in November so this'll be my first festival (legally) drinking so I'm excited to have a chill, fun weekend. no camping on the rail for anybody and missing sets. can't wait to get tatted!
I wonder if Joe Keery from Stranger Things will be playing with his band Post Animal. I feel like he will since it's in Atlanta so even if Stranger Things is shooting he'll be in the area.
not sure if he still plays with them. I saw them back in June '16 at Drunken Unicorn and they didn't have Joe. I feel like he may have parted ways with his touring days since he's considerably recognizable/famous now. I could be wrong though. but I swore I saw Charlie Heaton (Jonathan). most of the actors who play main characters in the show were all side-stage at Mac Demarco's show here in May with Finn Wolfhard coming out and "playing" guitar (he's in a band, they're not bad, but they turned his guitar off during Mac's show) so it's not impossible Joe wouldn't play with them at SK, guess it just depends on the filming schedule. I'd bet money he and some others from the show will at least attend the fest, especially Finn
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I have a final the Monday after this.
Honestly think I'm about to drop this class, I was really thinking of dropping one already for this semester but I just looked at the syllabus and saw I have this final, a 10 page paper, and a mandatory $200 textbook for this class. I'll still have a tough semester without it.

I'm just hoping Jack White doesn't play Friday and I end up having finals that day. Hopefully I'll get lucky and won't even have any that day.
Shaky wins lineup of the year, the Bonnaroo lineup is atrocious.
Amen - My friends and I were holding off on committing to SK until the Roo lineup dropped...I don’t think we’ll even have a debate. That festival continues to decline.
Gotta give the Shaky people props for pulling another proper lineup especially considering what some of the other US lineups are thus far. Makes me darn proud to be an Atlien seeing how this is arguably the third best indie fest in the U.S now with apologies to Psychfest/Levitation. (Sasquatch/Pitchfork)
I know there’ll be conflicts but if I can watch these between Friday-Sunday that’d be nice. Please don’t make like 16 of them Friday!
