Honestly, I am fine with Beats being as bad as it is. Buying a ticket for Knees when I get paid Friday and don't have to spend the money on the other one.

Fuck me. I bought presage to shaky beats thinking Odesza would be there. And they’d at least have another decent headliner. That’s the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.
just listened to Greta Van Fleet. holy shit. I hope they have a late night show cos I'm there in a heartbeat. rock ain't dead
"Hey guys! i've got a great idea for a band! What if we sounded like a significantly less good version of Led Zeppelin and brought literally nothing new or original to the table?"
you're so right! with only one released recording, an 8 song EP, the band has absolutely nowhere to grow! they've hit their ceiling and it's impossible they'll ever evolve! thanks for pointing that out! I'll stop listening to them immediately!

This is a bad argument. Do they have obvious talent and potential to grow into something interesting? Sure. Doesn't change the fact that as things currently stand they're straight ripping off one of the most successful bands of all time.
Sorry that I judge an artist on the music they've released instead of what they might or might not release in the future.
And I'm not even saying you shouldn't enjoy their music. There's plenty of great music that's far from original. Plus they probably put on a fun show

I am a fan of Greta Van Zepplin and will do my best to support them. I feel they have a lot of raw talent and will grow into their own in the coming years.

I am sorry for your loss. My condolences.
If the top 2 could at least be Odesza - Alesso I wouldn't hate myself so much right now.
That lineup is SIGNIFICANTLY worse than even last year's. Last year's wasn't so bad if you are able to ignore the Chainsmokers.
Remember when I made this last year? I was on to something.
Damn, I wish Shaky Knees could have gotten Bon Iver as a headliner. So jealous Roo got him.
*them, they're a band. the guy you're thinking of is named Justin Vernon
really pretentious pet peeve of mine I am so sorry I know I hate me too
So you're telling me it isn't just some dude named Bon?!!
Fully aware. Him was referring to Justin and I'm a huge Bon Iver/Justin Vernon stan so you don't have to spell it out for me ;-) But I understand you for jumping on me for wording it that way, I brought it on myself.
I will have finals the week after, which sucks. It lined up last year and 2015 where I had finals the week before and got to go to SK to celebrate the end of the semester. Oh well. Sucks but I'll just try not to procrastinate this year with studying and projects. I just hate it'll be looming on my mind.
Love the lineup. Am a much larger fan of this one than last year, though I don't think it beats 2015.
1. Queens of the Stone Age 2. David Byrne 3. The National 4. Tenacious D 5. Basement 6. Japandroids 7. The Voidz 8. Circa Survive 9. Torres 10. Jack White
While I resent being labled an "old", I have had to face reality the last 4 or 5 years. Weve done VIP early bird now 3 yrs in a row. Worth it for us for all the reasons you mentioned. I regretted not going to the late shows last year, friends who saw Car Seat Headrest said the late night show crushed the festival set (as expected). This is the year I finally do it. Just like this is the year I finally get there early enough for Songs For Kids
How far from the main stage is the VIP section, and how crowded does it get?
