i'm willing to bet maybe this has something to do with the delay. say it was Eminem and he dropped out, they could have had put in a lot of paper work to determining who is above and below who. it's supposedly the reason The Weeknd dropped out of Lolla. So maybe the top line was supposed to be Eminem - Bassnectar - Arcade Fire and with Eminem dropping out and a late replacement of Halsey and Travis, they weren't prepared to make this a number one Bassnectar festival and just went the alphabetical route after snagging two moderate replacements at HLer?

I think you still bill AF over Nectar, right? I know Nectar is the bigger draw, but Arcade Fire is better known. I'm really not sure.

My favorite thing that developed from that time period were “scene” kids. Just the name alone makes me laugh just hearing it. I’m not even trying to be a hater. I don’t even understand what the difference is.

garbage lineup compared to years past with only a handful of undercard artists that I'd actually care to see. couple that with their bullshit security from last year and you can count me out.

well in this scenario with brand new theyd be under arcade fire, and on the same line as foster the people and the flaming lips and leon bridges. i have friends who like all those bands. i dont think it would be crazy out of place.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

2. Also, rumors are floating around that the full moon Thursday show could involve Tipper. Fuck some haters but if that were so, that’s a fairly major event. Two years ago, everyone who went to Tipper’s full moon jam on Inforoo and at least 10 people I talked to personally said it was awesome. I think him working with Bassnectar on the water could be fairly badass. But rumors.
3. Thievery Corporation, Tipper, Tribe, Lettuce, Flaming Lips, Tycho, Bassnectar, Gramatik, Denzel, Turkuaz, Chicano Batman, Funk Apostles and G Jones - while a personal rerun - would probably be worth the 2;50 drive to Hangout. Haha

Arcade Fire, foster the people, the flaming lips, slightly stoopid, Tipper, big gigantic, sts9, local natives, Gramatik, thievery Corporation, tycho, Sylvan Esso, lettuce, big wild, Denzel curry, nightmares on wax live, twiddle, Chicano Batman, hippo campus, turkauz, The districts, the main squeeze, and susto. I could defiantly have fun at this festival. Plus there’s plenty of other stuff like Leon Bridges, and Zeds Dead who i would still enjoy if nothing else was going on. The only part I don’t like is the headliners. Love Arcade Fire, enjoy Bassnectar, but bringing him back for a third time and giving him two sets is a bit much for me, should’ve put another big Electronic name like Martin Garrix or Kygo up there. Defietnly should’ve taken off Halsey and Travis Scott and replaced it with one bigger rap artist or one bigger female singer like Florence & The Machine. Good lineup and better than Hangouts for sure. Worth $400 though? Hell no, $300 sure I’d probably go! $250 I’d buy my ticket now. Impressed they got Tipper and Theivery Corporation though.

I think they found their niche with this lineup. Saw more than a few people at Camp Bisco last year with Okeechobee shirts and talking up the fest. They have kind of found their market with the "wookiedm" crowd.
I do think the pricing is pretty nuts for what it is though.

This is the problem. I could convince myself to go to this at last years price. But at nearly double the price? Nahhhh. If I lived in Florida maybe.
