I always thought it sounded like a really fun time.
Same here! It will probably never compete with the likes of Roo or Coach, but it will still be a great time with some seriously awesome artists. Depending on how Roo shapes up, this might be the fest to go too for me.
I mean, I already bought tickets, so I am definitely onboard with this lineup.
I like this lineup better. It has more that caters to my tastes than Electric Forest. Plus, some of my camping krewe goes as well. And it is way closer, so cheaper to travel to.
With more fests coming out with meh lineups, it's really looking like Okee is pretty strong this year. Compared to the other lineups, of course. What do ya'll think?
No hate for the lineup, but I don't think it's particularly strong. You have some up and coming shit like Halsey (whether good or not live, IDK) and annoying but wild shit like Travis Scott. But you still have Arcade Fire, Bassnectar, Snoop Pow Wow, Flaming Lips, Slightly Stoopid, Tipper, Big G, STS9, Gramatik, Shorty & Orleans Ave., Thievery Corporation, Tycho, Sylvan Esso, Lettuce, G Jones, Denzel Curry, Liquid Stranger, SMINO, Funky Meters, Chicano Batman, Cory & Funk Apostles, Turkuaz. I'd go if I lived in South Florida. One of my kids goes every year, but it hasn't been worth the 11-12 hour drive for me or the 4 days off to invest in doing this. So okay headliners, but I think the value is the mid-card. It's definitely not terrible for what it is, and you already know you're going to have a great time.
Me? I'm not super ecstatic about anything released yet in the US. Coachella and Governor's Ball are mostly letdown announcements, and Hangout mostly bit the big one. Jazz Fest should be out in 2 weeks, and fortunately, a lot of acts I don't want to see on the lineup are already doing shows in town. So as long as there is enough rock, jam, rap, jazz and world to get me through a couple of days, I'll be ready for the night show announcements over the next 4 months.

So I was dissuaded by the price of this fest and was holding out for Bonnaroo, but after the mediocre lineup Bonnaroo dropped, it weirdly made me appreciate the Okee lineup so much more. I think it was mostly Halsey and Travis Scott as headliners that made this lineup look shitty to me, but there's so much stuff on here I really love. I'm starting to think I'll just go for the ridiculous price tag and get tickets for this.

Exactly! While more lineups come out, I realize how unique ours is. I'm just glad Em isn't at the top here lol. But yea, this lineup isn't perfect, I'd rather have something completely unique with some interesting gets.
We hope to be presenting at Okeechobee, we are crossing our fingers.
Looking at the lineup, I see some gold in them there hills. Other then AF, not anyone else in the top line Im interested in. Give me some Lettuce, Snoop, Leon Bridges, Flips, STS9, Gramatik, Tycho, Thievery Corp, Trombone Shorty, Too Many Zooz, and Turkuaz. Funking Turkuaz!! Main Squeeze and the Funky Meters will be on my list too. ANy other Funk I need to see in this lineup?

That's very strong for my tastes. The more I look at this lineup the more I like it.
That looks like a Bonnaroo-level Superjam to be, sweet.
Seriously! Continuing last years trend, I like how they bring out some 80's artist from the wood work and bring some super talented people on stage with them. Can't wait to see this!
That's some bad ass Super Jam talent there. Lalli, Henry (that's Henry used to be from Snarky Puppy now Funk Apostles, not Rebirth) and Shorty. Damn. Good for you guys.
