if i lived anywhere in florida i would totally go to this
This and the Jungle 51 lineup make it tempting, but the thought of driving 3.5 hours there and back and roughing it in camping for a weekend just doesn't worth it.

as someone who has never seen Arcade Fire and think this is probably the most underrated undercard of the year, i'd totally do 3.5 hours drive for this.

Want to switch places for a weekend? I'd be excited for Arcade Fire, Volvox, Honey Dijon, the PowWow, Local Natives, Trombone Shorty, Thievery Corp, Denzel Curry, Nightmares on Wax and Flamingosis, so not too bad, but not enough to get me out there.

Yea man 3.5 hours is nothing. I loved the acl Saturday so much a few years back I went both weekends. The second weekend we left dallas at like 8am and left Austin after the headliner and made it home before 3am.

There’s only like a 5% chance I’m going because my daughter keeps pestering me. But like Fozzy, this is 12 1/2 hours for me. Lots of fun stuff but maybe not quite worth it. But if by chance any of my kids go, you want an infant Okeechobee shirt or onesie? I’ll front and have them get one if they exist. Let me know.
And I would like to add The Cosmic Swirl Projectto the visual arts lineup. We have accepted an offer and we are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
Update: Contract cancelled due to "budget cuts" by OMF.

Thank you brother, I appreciate that! but OMF just did something I was not expecting. Got an email yesterday, it stated due to budget cuts, our contract has been cancelled. The Cosmic Swirl Project will not be at OMF.

Hmmmmmmm. I'm sorry to hear that man! But budget cuts sounds a bit worrying. I hope everything is alright in the grove.
That's a pretty good schedule and one I could probably find stuff to see from opening act to headliner. Conflicts aren't terrible either. The ones I would have had would be Thievery Corp vs. Funk Apostles and Gramatik vs. Nightmares on Wax (Live Band). Chicano Batman overlaps 30 minutes with Tipper. I'd start there and catch probably 40 minutes before heading to Tipper. Either way, I hope y'all have fun down there in < 4 weeks.

If I went:
Friday: Sylvan Esso > Poolside > Tycho > STS9 > Lettuce > Honey Dijon Saturday: Flamingosis > Thievery Corporation > Allah-Lahs > PoWow > Travis Scott > Volvox > DJ Bone Sunday: Denzel Curry > Trombone Shorty > Nightmares on Wax > Local Natives > Arcade Fire
The schedule makes the lineup look thinner to me. Plus, having 3/4 headliners play hour-long sets seems really cheap and more evidence of those budget cuts.
We have so little conflicts, that I am just going to say, we have NONE. There is such a little overlap on the one or two that we do have a conflict with. This has made my day (especially since I have been out sick for a week and work is hell today).
My schedule:
Friday: Hippo Campus > Sylvan Esso > Judah and the Lion > The Districts > STS9 > Chicano Batman > Halsey but leaving early (only because of this 1 song that she probably won't play anyway) > Lettuce > Bassnectar (I guess) Saturday: Chet Porter > Misterwives > Thievery Corp > The Flaming Lips > Powow > Funky Meters > Big Gigantic Sunday: Trombone Shorty > Big Wild > Hiss Golden Messenger > Leon Bridges (leave early) > Nightmare on Wax > Local Natives > Arcade Fire
Still cannot fathom what made them actually want to book Halsey as a headliner.
I thought the lineup was pretty weak when it came out but now that the schedule's out it looks pretty stacked and actually a lot of conflicts. If I went,
Fri: Hippo Campus -> little bit of Mad Zach (saw his YouTube videos) -> Sylvan Esso -> Jai Wolf -> Tycho -> Turkuaz -> STS9 -> Chicano Batman -> Lettuce -> FtP -> Maybe check out Bassnectar
Sat: Twiddle -> MisterWives -> Thievery Corporation -> Flaming Lips -> Powow -> Illenium -> Big Gigantic or leave
Sun: Mikky Ekko -> Ghost of Paul Revere -> Trombone Shorty -> Big Wild -> Hiss Golden Messenger -> Leon Bridges -> Gramatik -> Local Natives -> Zeds Dead -> Arcade Fire
I have a feeling not a lot of people are going to be at Arcade Fire, considering they start and end so late on the final day. Also not sure how many bassheads care about Arcade Fire.

The festival closing set both years hasn't been very busy. I imagine AF will be the same way.

So I was planning on not coming til Fri, but I really hate to miss that full moon party. If I do come Thur I'd have to leave from work at 4 and I wouldn't be to the festival til after 6. I remember hearing lines were 3-5 hours last year. If I'm going to be in line over 2 hours I'll be dying of anxiety knowing the full moon party is happening while I'm waiting in line.
edit: looking through historical reddit posts there are reports of people arriving at 11 and waiting 8 hours.
With nectar playing thur and thur automatically included in ticket price this year I imagine its going to be some long lines no matter what

I don't know if it will be similar this year but I showed up to the gate at 8pm Thursday first year and there were three other cars with me. We went from box office to line to set up to beach within an hour. Must have just been a huge line at the beginning.

Yeah I arrived at 10-11AM both years and never had to wait in a line. I drove through security both times and was set up within an hour. Take the back entrance.
