Hope people had fun today, I sure as hell did. Was surprised by how much I enjoyed Paramore, though far too much from the new album. The Killers did their thing, and personally I ate that shit up. And Perfume Genius wins the award for most confused audience.

curious how the talkers were today. it was a god damn epidemic last year.
Horrible during The National. I kept moving to find a quieter spot.
During The Killers, the problem wasn't people talking as much as drunk people walking into you. If you can't hold your liquor or drugs in public, you should intoxicate in a private residence.

I wish I had gone with my original plan and opted for Perfume Genius, rather than make sure that I didn't miss a note of (Sandy) Alex G, who was OK, but not quite as good as last year at The Sinclair. The drummer still shined on the more abrasive, noisy songs.

If you waited a while for a good spot and talkers are bothering you, please confront them (politely at first, but impolitely if it's necessary to speak their language).
Because rest assured that you're not the only one bothered, so you'll improve things for everybody.
The Red Stage needs to be louder and better sound. That was where I had the most problems with talkers yesterday (The National, Maggie Rogers) and the low volume they're pushing out doesn't help

I need to know why the crowd was confused by Perfume Genius.
The crowd just had no idea what they were getting into, they probably only knew Slip Away and Queen which is vastly different from most of Mike Hadreas' catalogue. A little under 50 minutes of slower chamber pop before those two song just got played just left people confused. Everyone around me had wtf faces of between that, and the gyrating.
