Just noticed that Ticketmaster reduced some of the nosebleed prices for Travis Scott in DC for only $29.95 + fees. Wonder if it'll be possible to get super cheap tickets day of the show.

Most of the shows on the second leg of his tour are doing badly on the secondary market.

It’s on InWeGo so I’d assume it gets cheap day of show like Interpol did

fwiw though Club Glow/Panorama Productions puts on Moonrise Fest which usually takes place at Pimlico in the fall (think there's some uncertainty about date/location this year). teaming up w/Preakness seems sensible as they've already done logistics for shows on the infield, probably signals that Preakness wants to lean harder towards an Indy Snake Pit type vibe

Anybody see James Blake last night? Tickets on Stubhub were going for way below face value at the very last minute ($15 at one point). Should have just waited rather than pay full price + service fees. Though I did get to sit on the second floor Super Excellent Seats. The view and sound from there was definitely amazing, though I still prefer to be standing on the floor among the crowd. There was something about the ambiance in the back that didn't feel the same. Could have been the strong A/C.
Oh, and Jameela Jamil was in the crowd as well, per pics from Twitter. That Blake fella is one fortunate S.O.B.

Lol Ice Cube cancelled. They completely removed it from the site. Apparently wasn’t selling well at all. Don’t know why they waited until this month to announce that show and now it’s not even happening

Just pulled the trigger on a Stereolab ticket after seeing the low ticket warning alert on Twitter. Must have gotten the last one, because now it is sold out.
But If I get to see them at Primavera, I'll come offer it here.

I feel like they announced it two weeks before show day.

Any chance VW announces a show in the area for Memorial Day weekend? I could definitely see them doing a show at The Anthem and having no problem selling it out. Could they be waiting till after Firefly?

How was the show? Thinking about seeing him here in CA next Friday, dependent on StubHub prices...

Frankly, it was solid, but James Blake is an artist that I really admire more than that I actually love. So if you're a massive fan you'll get a lot out of it, partially because Blake's live show has evolved somewhat since the past, but I doubt this will hit my year-end list.

If anyone is interested in making the drive down, Pharrell just announced the lineup to his Something in the Water festival in Virginia Beach. It'll be held on April 26-28.

Looks cool, but I'm hoping that Rosalía will just announce a local date during that same period.

Here's the full SITW lineup poster. pretty wild to announce a lineup of this magnitude 8 weeks out... hard to ever trust a brand new fest with getting all their logistics straight.
