I def prefer the Porch in this location next to the Backyard. I like that they'll be using the structure from the coffeehouse the last couple years for the porch stage too, and putting the coffeehouse under a tent again.
Anybody think they'll be upgrading the lawn stage at all this year? I've never been the biggest fan of that stage, and with moving the porch stage it seems like there's not much else over there. Kind of hoping I don't even have to make the walk from premier camping to the lawn stage at all this year. Also noticed they aren't showing GA portos on the right side of the lawn stage on this map.
Also, pretty disappointed The Fort isn't making a return this year, it was such an appealing and beautiful structure last year.
New map is out, and they are moving the Porch Stage again. This time to the area where the Backyard Stage is. They almost moved the Coffee House back it it's original location.
Great move putting the Porch Stage in new location. Big significance being that they can now do late night shows there, until 2am I believe. Would be great way to bring other genre's to late night as opposition to the EDM going on in Pavilion and Backyard.

I feel like there is a good chance this happens. I can see Spafford getting a set from midnight to 2 am.

Seems like sound bleeding would be a huge issue if these two stages ran at the same time.
I'm really excited for the Porch to be on the other side of the grounds. I think it will give that stage more exposure. People go to the Coffee House for specific reasons,so it will be fine over there, but having the Porch over with the bigger stages might bring bigger crowds to it, since there is generally more crowd movement over there between the Firefly stage and the Backyard. I think people will be inclined to stop by the Porch because it will be on the way to the other stages.

I feel like the top half of the fest is gonna be that much more crowded tho. The bottom half is only gonna be lawn/treehouse/people just entering going to main/by/porch/etc area

Agreed, I always felt that the Porch stage was just this little side stage next to the lawn that was like a warm up act stage for the next lawn act. The new porch I assume will be tucked into that area where the coffeehouse was and will def give it it's own personality.

Considering they opened for Foo Fighters the summer of Dave's broken leg...100% they find a way to keep playing.
On the other side of the spectrum, it sounds like SZA is done for a while. That's a Top 10 name on this lineup and will call for a pretty big replacement. And considering she was the only female in the Top 20...gotta think it has to be a woman.

Yea I’m not sure who they’ll bring in for this at all. Hoping for CHVRCHES but they’re really not in the same genre as SZA. Guess we know why the schedule isn’t out. Can’t imagine trying to plan these festivals
