Biggest conflicts for me this year are Portugal vs San Holo and Logic vs Cold War Kids. I'll definitely be at Portugal and right now I'm heavily leaning towards Logic.

I'm already having a panic attack about squeezing in The Killers > Portgual the Man > Eminem. The Killers are going to play ever one of their 1:15 time slot and the Lawn is 15 min away (6 min run probably through the crowds). And then coming back and dealing with Ems huge crowd.
I'm probably going to go to Cold War Kids because that's where most of my group is planning to go, but damn that is a weak time slot this year on Friday. Two years ago we had the choice between Tame, Porter, and what was supposed to be Ludacris before he had to reschedule to Sunday and this year it's between CWK, Logic or fucking cheat codes.
If Lord Huron or MGMT swapped with Cold War Kids this schedule would have been perfect.

Yea my entire group will be doing Portugal so that's why I'll be there but I probably would've chosen them anyways because they put on a hell of a show. I'm probably going to cut out of The Killers and Em both early to get to Portugal and Garrix early. I'm never a huge fan of the headline shows because the crowds are so huge and the entire festival is there. The Weeknd last year was so packed that you couldn't even walk around. Idk, my favorite sets are always the pre/post-headliners.
There are still 6 shows buffering them and Firefly. I don't know the first thing about laryngitis but I don't think it'll knock them off the feet for too long.
In the chance that they do have to cancel, the best case scenario for replacement is 100% The Gaslight Anthem. The Front Bottoms or Catfish&TB could also work.

On second thought I HOPE it's Halsey. I'll be at Alt-J regardless so why not get Halsey out of the way this year before a slight uptick in popularity makes her a headliner next year.

Halsey is trending down for what its worth. She was up against Galantis at Gov Ball and it wasnt all that crowded, even with the biggest crowd of the day at Travis Scott who performed after her. Not all that surprising when you consider that she doesnt play a lot of the songs that made her famous, like New Americana anymore

not sure what's going on with the sza situation, I really doubt she plays, I guess they're waiting for everyone to be there until for them to announce she's cancelling? I feel like that's the best way to create the fewest mad people
