Pre-season just started and you guys are already in mid-season shit-talking form. I like it. Where the Redskins and Eagles fans at so i can throw some jabs?
In church hoping for .500 seasons no doubt.

Yeah. Pretty much fuck the entire NFC. The only teams I don't completely hate are the Lions and Cardinals though Bill Bidwell was an asshole. I guess I don't really care about the Giants all that much. For the AFC, I live in one of the cities that was rabidly pro-New England in this past year's super bowl. The outcome was second only to The Saints being there. I'm not some division homer or SEC Fanboy idiot. I'm usually for the AFC in the Super Bowl with a rare exception. However, I don't like Jets fans or Raiders fans that much. So the tier of hate goes as follows:
Absolutely hate:
Atlanta Falcons
Carolina Panthers
San Francisco 49ers
Hate but with slightly less animosity:
Washington Redskins - irrelevant team, big time a-hole owner
Dallas Cowboys - O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D and living on 1990's glory. Hint: Over the last 20 years, we're 9-2 against you.
Philadelphia Eagles - Fans on par with Jets and Raiders fans if not even worse. Learn to handle your liquor assholes
Tampa Bay Bucs - Historically a chump team
Chicago Bears - Probably won't win another super bowl in my kids' lifetimes. Congrats!
Hate
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Los Angeles Rams - Move too many times screwing over fans. Fuck the Rams.

I love it lol. You an LSU fan? How do you feel about the Jags with Fournette now? I fully expect them to go 4-12 with a different qb on the field by november. Also how do you feel about the impending exit of Breesus?
I'm actually an FSU fan. My little brother was the only one of us to go to a major university. His first semester was the 1993 National Championship. I do pull for LSU sometimes, but I don't get butthurt when they lose. The Jags are my second favorite team, though I kind of stopped following them closely after they packed it in under Jack Del Rio. I think Fournette is a beast, but I don't know how healthy he can be or if he can last a whole season. He runs really hard, and people hit him really hard. So it's a big question mark. I also think they'll be sub-500 despite all the crazy talent they have. Bortles has not impressed me at all yet.

alright we made the "No Opinion So Why Bother Listing" list!
Oh and as for Brees, I think they'll get a final contract done with him to retire here 2 or 3 years depending on how he holds up this season. He's likely to retire a Saint, but our f'n window is pretty small at this point. I feel like Goodell fucked us over with the death penalty we received - especially compared to all the teams that cheated and got slaps on the wrist. We lost our GM for a season, Head Coach for a season, Assistant Head Coach for half the season, 2 #2's and I think a #1. It was complete bullshit particularly with deflate gate and spying and shit that actually is cheating rather than collecting bounties for knocking the fuck out of players on the field. Some of the hits were obviously out of bounds, but it's not like the Saints were the only ones. They just got caught.
I wasn't targeting the AFC. I usually root for them in any inter-conference battle unless the NFC team in question winning somehow helps the Saints. I'm okay with but tired of the Patriots. I don't really mind the Dolphins or Bills. I don't like Jets fans and was happy with fights in the halls after Kyle Turley ripped off the helmet of Damian whatever his name was and threw it down the field. They were complete assholes at that game as they always are.
In the AFC North, I don't mind the Ravens, I actually like the Bengals, Steelers fans are cocky but they have earned it. And Cleveland is Cleveland. I love the city, but the Browns probably cause early deaths there.
In the South, I don't mind the Texans, love the Jaguars, like the Titans and am indifferent on the Colts. In the West, I like the Chargers and Chiefs. Sometimes I can tolerate the Broncos. And I don't like the Raiders' fans so I usually go against them.

Going to my first Bills preseason game in FOREVER. It may be boring but at least it should be nice weather.
Boring?
I'm the better part of fifteen years removed from that. There was a time back in the day where we were scrambling to come up with bail money for a friend that got arrested at a game. I still have his "mug shot" somewhere...
Haha. Rednecks in Buffalo. My ex-mother-in-law lives down in the Southern Tier where there are a bunch of 'necks for Yankees. People want to bag on Buffalo, but I've never not had a good time there nor have I ever not had good stuff to eat. I think the combination of immigrants from Italy, Poland and Ireland (among lots of other places) makes the food a little unique. I love the pizza up that way too. I've spent a bit more time down in Allegheny County (Cuba and Friendship) than I have in Buffalo. It's such a weird mix of Amish, hippies, rednecks and the like. I was always treated like family though. I'd say 2 of my favorite memories up there was at my mother-in-law's wedding taunting some of the old timers at the military hall it was at about all the soldiers in navy blue. Hahaha. I riled and pissed off a bunch of them, but they all figured out, "Oh you must be from C's side of the family." Then we went jet skiing in Lake Erie and I expected it to be like 50 degrees. But was in the mid 80's and I might as well have been jet skiing here or in Florida.
Haters are going to hate, but I like Cleveland too.

Yeah, like most of NY, there's a lot of red outside of the urban centers. We moved back after having the kid because we wanted her to grow up with family around. Also, the food is much better here than most places I've lived and it's pretty affordable.
There's plenty to bitch about but for the most part I'm happy to be back. Buffalo's a lot better than its reputation.

The Saints were so happy the Patriots kept the Falcons from winning the Super Bowl, they sent their best receiver to Belichick for an offensive tackle with the hip of 70 year-old-woman.
Honest question: How do you feel about the name of Washington's football team? Not being a troll here. I just don't know too many people who are fans of theirs and I'm trying to figure out what the real response is, not the political one or the one from someone with a financial stake in the game.

I didn't like having to ditch Cooks, but they were going to have to give him a giant extension. He'll be great in New England. The Saints believe that Michael Thomas is better than Cooks. I don't know and think it remains to be seen.

Yeah. I trolled a bunch of them. It went like, 'Excuse me. Aren't all these soldiers supposed to be in grey?" They'd look flabbergasted that someone would have the audacity to ask that about Civil War portraits, but they all appreciated the joke in the end.
What I never got to do up that way was travel from that base. I'd love to get up there in like May and stay until July and be able to tour New England, Quebec, Toronto and some of central New York. It's easy to get everywhere from the Great Lakes (except the South obviously).

I think it's kind of shitty in the modern world. I mean you're not going to call a team the white skins, the black skins, the brown skins or yellow skins. I'm not even sure where "red" comes from unless everyone was colorblind or all the Indians were once sunburned. They tend to look tan to brown to me. But it's kind of traditional. I hate Daniel Snyder way more than I hate the name.

Oh and Buffalo: Inforoo dat cam
Do it in the Fall. So much prettier with the leaves and rain and stuff. Plus it's better weather for comfort food, which is what the Northeast does best, I think.
Holy shit Zeke suspended first 6 games, I thought he had been cleared of all these accusations a while back? Sucks to suck Cowboys fans. Can't wait to see what Jerry has to say.
Also Sammy Watkins to the Rams? I can dig it. Opens up their playbook quite a bit and will hopefully take some of the pressure off Gurley. LA has got a lot of talent - especially on the defensive side. Now that that god awful coaching staff from the past few years has been shown the door I'll be pulling for them to find some success this season.
