I really love what they are doing at that stadium in terms of concessions prices, but my goodness why would you have a Chick Fil-A there when your main tenant plays mostly on Sundays? I guess they can expect concerts, SEC Championship, Final Fours/Sweet Sixteens, etc but those are just as infrequent and more subject to scheduling. It just seems weird to me.

I'm ready to see where Jaylon Smith's game is at and how well these Cowboy rookie DB's fare. Also anxious to catch a glimpse of Switzer in the slot and on special teams.

Were there actually people expecting the Pats to go 19-0? I just didn't expect them to give up 42 points. That was a great debut for Kareem Hunt. Sucks that the Chiefs lost Eric Berry for the year though.

I'd say at least 60% of Patriots fans, and maybe a handful of others.
Was listening to sports talk this morning, people freaking out like it's the end of the world we lost to KC. People are forgetting KC is a good team, and that KC seem to match up well against the Pats the last few times they've played each other.

I wasn't aware before the game started that the Chiefs had the second best record over the last two seasons. The Pats defense doesn't look to be as strong as it has been. A lot of familiar players are missing from the starting lineup.
Pats secondary looked pretty good with Gilmore and Butler but they may have the worst lineup of linebackers I've ever seen in a Patriots uniform. Still only week one and that can all turn around but if they play like that all year, they could have trouble.
KC looks legit and Alex Smith is in the most important season of his career, could be Super Bowl or bust.

Gilmore is a good corner but a word of warning: he will never sell out to make a play. He'll always give up a few extra yards forcing a player out of bounds rather than tackling.
He's usually in good position which scares opposing QB's away but he's shaky when actually making a play on the ball. Last year Ryan Fitzpatrick just said fuck it and threw at him anyways and his receivers regularly won their battles.
Most of the time he's an effective corner but Pats fans may end up resenting the price paid for him.

Losing Eric Berry is a huge blow. Took Gronk completely out of the game and I still remember him single-handedly beating Atlanta in the regular season last year.
Alex Smith looked great and I feel like an idiot for benching Hunt (luckily 10 team league so have something to work with).

I was looking into the Sunday ticket student pack, and am only lacking a student email account. I realize this is an odd request, but would anyone be interested in lending me their email credentials for the season?

I'm pretty sure /nflstreams is the death of me paying for out-of-market games for a while. Maybe a one on, one off year approach with Sunday ticket will work
And the Deshaun Watson era begins. They did nothing in the first half. They scored a td on his first drive.
What did they do after that?
They moved the ball better than they did with Savage. And when I say they I mean Deshaun and Nuk. Everyone else is hurt and the offensive line is terrible. He was decent despite all of that.

Did they? After the TD they had drives of 34, 13, 43, and 3 yards. One ended in a fumble by Deshaun, one ended in a pick, one on downs, the other a punt. "Nuk" had 7 catches on 16 targets. Deshaun threw a pick nullified by penalty the play before the TD. He averaged 4.4 YPA to Savage's 4.8.
The offensive line is terrible, I'll give you that, but I think you're being a homer about the rest. I watched Kizer play yesterday and that guy looks great, I'm a big fan.

Maybe, to me it was clear that they did more with him in the game. He was able to avoid the pass rush a lot better. Savage was sacked 6 times. He actually threw thr ball to Nuk (a lot) which they need to do. He obviously made mistakes but considering he's a rookie thrown in after half time of the first game he looked good.
