Holy shit Zeke suspended first 6 games, I thought he had been cleared of all these accusations a while back? Sucks to suck Cowboys fans. Can't wait to see what Jerry has to say.
He had been cleared of all actual crimes, but Roger Goodell had not cleared him from all thought crimes.

It's not about crime though, its about hurting the image of league. I think it's bs, and I wish that the dudes who beat their wives and were caught doing steroids and shiz got punished more, but it is what it is.
McFadden/Morris/Hilliard isn't the worst RB committee to have, so it'll be interesting to see if/how their offense changes. I think they still just pound the ball, the line is too good.
I hope Dak is a one hit wonder since so many Cowboys fans, like Falcons fans, are fair weather fans. I realize that there is plenty of history and all, but there's not much worse than a smug Cowboys fan. Having said that, I think the division is up for grabs between the Giants and Cowboys this year. Maybe during a head to head matchup this year, the Redskins and Eagles jets will collide above Jerry World and come crashing down to the field eliminating the NFC East once and for all.

Pretty lame the league will suspend someone for allegations. There's no evidence Zeke did it. He's also appealing, so chances are it'll be reduced to 4. With our o line, it'll be interesting to watch this three headed monster of DMC/Rod Smith/Alfred(or Hillman) rush for 1000 in 6 games.

ha I've never met a fairweather Cowboys fan. Also have you seen tape on Dak? Compared to Wentz and Carr, he's not going to have anything close to a slump. He's legit. Carr and Wentz on the other hand... two most over hyped qbs right now.

I've never met a fairweather cowboys fan either, but they do tend to be Lakers and Yankees fans also.

Shiny shirt, BMWs I can't afford to drive style boys. I haven't watched tape on Prescott, but I've watched him in college and a year in the NFL. I actually like him which puts me in a tough spot because I'd love him to be successful. But not the team.

I've endured many horrible years as a Cowboys fan. It makes it all the more worthwhile when they are good. I believe Carr is the real deal. I watched highlights of every Raiders game last year and the guy made some incredible plays. I'm not sold on Wentz yet. Since he's with the Eagles, I hope he blows.

It's not like the league hasn't handed out bullshit length suspensions based on circumstancial evidence before.
The powers that be under the Goodell era really don't know what the hell they're doing.

I've grown up in Dallas, met more fair weather fans than actual fans in the 30 years I've been here. One year all you hear between the radio and the water cooler is the abysmal cowboys, then the following year its like the second coming of Christ. Its pathetic as it is routine. Its cowboys fandom in a nutshell, to this individual at least.
I think it's just that i've always just brushed it off when Goodell hands out these stupid "consequences" to the Pats (deflategate, spygate), Saints (bountygate), or Steelers (Brown dancegate, Bell potgate). But when it's to your own team, i finally relate to the ridiculousness and abuse of power in the way he handles things. He really is a joke of a commissioner and doesn't deserve the job.
I grew up in the Dallas area during the Chad Hutchinson/Quincy Carter years and even then the city and fans stood behind the team. I am such an insane fan that i thought we'd be fine when Romo got hurt in 2015.

The image of the league is that it's a fucking joke.
This could become another lawsuit like Deflategate, so don't be surprised if the suspension doesn't go into effect until next season.
I really love what they are doing at that stadium in terms of concessions prices, but my goodness why would you have a Chick Fil-A there when your main tenant plays mostly on Sundays? I guess they can expect concerts, SEC Championship, Final Fours/Sweet Sixteens, etc but those are just as infrequent and more subject to scheduling. It just seems weird to me.

It's probably like Philips where people can access the restaurant from the outside. Even if it isn't, I'm pretty sure they have to include Chick-Fil-a in everything. I don't know how yankees feel about it, but it's basically a religious experience around here for some people.

Chick Fil-A is on my Mt Rushmore of fast food, it's probably the George Washington even.
I have Chick-Fil-A a few times a year. Yesterday at Baltimore airport was one of those times.
It's good food for fast food, but I try not to support such a shitty corporation that much.
Same here. I like the Spicy Chicken Sandwiches though and will eat them maybe once ever couple of months for the same reason. I don't mind the owner's vision of a Christian type environment and being closed on Sundays. But their employees are almost robotically cultish.
"Can I have a ketchup?"
"It would be my pleasure."
"Can I have an extra pickle?"
"It would be my pleasure."
"May I have some more ice for this lemonade?"
"It would be my pleasure."
I understand they have some rah-rah camp they send promising workers to where this style of customer service originates. And in the end, it's better than someone throwing you a pack of ketchup and sneering at you.
I know that Mercedes-Benz is the venue sponsor. I think Charmin would be more fitting. They can call it The Ass or The Anus.
Tried them before they decided to dive into the gay marriage debate and found them underwhelming. (Note: I don't do sweet tea.) Avoided them every since. Happy to not have that moral conflict every time I'm hungry.
