Russel wasnt even elite at the time of the SB win. Flaaco wasnt. Eli is not "elite".
Depends on your definition of elite, but hate when the word is used to define anyone in the last 15 years beyond Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, Brees and Ben.
Idk. I think Wilson is pretty special. Flacco and Eli are QBs who can sometimes, by their play and leadership, accomplish greatness. I’m not saying they are on a Favre, Brady or Peyton level. But I think we all know they have the ability to sometimes put the game on their shoulders and carry their teams if they have to. In the list of 2000’s super bowl winning QBs, Dilfer and Johnson stand out to me as the more manager style and I don’t personally like that term. But that’s where I’m coming from. Maybe ‘elite’ wasn’t the best description because there are like 11 QBs on that list. Maybe some are super elite and maybe some are good or pretty great. But I like my chances in the Super Bowl with any decent team with the balance of that list in this era except Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer.
I guess I’m over the Saints last second loss considering I have been laughing my ass off for a few days over Marcus Williams memes. Stunners, speed skating, Twister, all of them. And I love him as a player so, acceptance. I was wondering why nobody had put one of him in with mosh pit girl, and I guess I would have but I suck with picture editing. So I was thinking more about memes and beer looter dude crossed my mind. He’s one of my favorites of all time. And so I did a quick search and ran across an article on I think weightless dog tying it in with hate sites and racism. I never took it that way. I always thought it was hilarious. Maybe Heineken isn’t the best choice, but it isn’t the worst by far. And wtf are you gonna do when an obvious priority is to have some emergency beers? Black, white, brown, whoever - he would have become a meme whoever he was.
Alex Smith to Washington for a 3rd and a player to be named. (Can't be completed until March.)
The bidding war for Cousins will probably be intense. Buf Cle Den Az off the top of my head. Would be interesting if Jax tried to get him, but I think that's not much of an upward move and would cost a lot.

I'd like the Bills to be in it but that's not the current regime's MO thus far. They're all about rookie contracts and low priced vets. More likely to go after one of the Minnesota Three and a first round pick.
Edit:
Cleveland's got the first and fourth picks. There's no way that they're not going to take one there so I think that eliminates spending $130-$140M on Cousins. Denver's probably the play unless they go with Tyrod and a 1st. My money is on the Jets.
Player to be named is apparently CB Kendall Fuller.
As a long-suffering miserable Redskins fan, I understand the move. Kirk was not going to sign a long-term deal with Washington, and that is based 100% on ownership/front office ineptitude. Given that, trading for Alex Smith was better than the result I expected. I hope the actual numbers for Smith’s extension are lower than the numbers being reported, since there is no official contract to analyze until mid-March.
I hate that Fuller was part of the trade, though. He had a great year, and will only get better.
I think Arthur Blank is a fairly good guy. But as a long time falcons hater, I thought the Patriots decision to put 283 diamonds in their Super Bowl ring was genius.
I'd disagree with Blank being good, based on the way Home Depot conducts business.
Yeah ultimately fuck him, but sometimes he has come through in disasters, so I’m not going to completely hate. I’m pretty indifferent to who wins tomorrow, but i mostly go for the afc in the super bowl. The hedge is that I love Malcolm Jenkins and Sproles, and I’m a fan of P-Rob and Ellerbe. I wouldn’t mind seeing all those guys get rings. Nor would I mind the Eagles staying on the list of teams without a Lombardi (last championship was like ‘60 I think).
