Coach Pederson deserves a piece of the MVP. Excellently called game. Gusto shit. I’m disappointed we couldn’t hold Diggs down to get a shot at the Eagles. Congrats.
The Patriots totaled 613 yards in defeat, while the Eagles gained 538 yards in victory. That total of 1,151 yards of offense breaks an NFL record that has stood for nearly seven decades.
The previous record for the most combined yards by both teams in any NFL game was 1,133, a record set in a 1950 game between the Los Angeles Rams and the now-defunct New York Yanks.
Oh man. This was great. Currently at Somme random hotel recollecting my wits. But for real. Great game. We won the fucking super bowl! WITH OUR BACKUP QUARTERBACK

There's already a big trash fire downtown. Have fun!

We watched the game at our friends' place. He's originally from Philadelphia. He started cawing like an eagle with about a minute left. Then, once reality set in that the Eagles did indeed win the Super Bowl, he had us all line up so he could pick us up and spin around. For reference, he is a former offensive lineman.
Congrats, Eagles fans! Don't burn the city down all at once.
Congrats Eagles. Droughts suck but ending them feels amazing. Now, as a Cowboys fan, don't fucking win another. Now we have to hear "Super Bowl 52 Champions; the Philadelphia Eagles are now on the clock." in our own turf during the draft. We'll also most likely be the matchup on opening night of the 2018 season.
"Some people broke a display window at a department store near City Hall, and looters broke into a convenience store, grabbing merchandise and screaming, “Everything is free!” Philly.com reported."
"Over in Amherst, Ma., State and University of Massachusetts police had more trouble as about 2,000 people flooded the streets near UMass Amherst and began throwing objects, setting off smoke bombs, fireworks and starting fistfights."

So Philly, so Boston.
Amherst is about 100 miles west of Boston. College kids get bored/drunk and wild out for anything they can.

This was impressive. Both the air the receiver got and how the defender was able to stop his forward progress. I thought for sure that they'd at least fall where he could have stretched for the first.
Some of the fan behavior in Philly was pretty embarrassing. There's a fine line between celebrating and looting and rioting and some fans definitely crossed it.
Turning over cars and destroying convenience stores is excessive. You're supposed to take the behavior out on folding tables, man.

Imagine being a Philadelphian with perspective regarding sports and having to deal with those jackasses daily and also having them represent your city. It must be exhausting.

Yeah. It seems that it's often the case in places where alcohol laws are tighter - people get drunk in crowds and go nuts. I recall Mardi Gras riots in Sacramento and Austin, TX from drunken Mardi Gras crowds in the early 2000's. Leave this shit to the professionals.

Maybe that's where Buffalo's 4 AM bar closing times will come in handy... someday.
