I was unsure about doing a second year of Meadows, but 2017 ended up being not only the greatest festival, but the greatest weekend, of my life. A memory my soon-to-be fiance and I will never forget. Sad to see it go, hopefully they can go another round in '19.

Now, I’m really interested to see who the headliners are. Florence is out now. I’d assume there is a high chance Kanye is one of them. Maybe Kendrick and Mumford are the others?
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
If it's back to life, wonder if they're moving the dates.
If it is at Citi Field again, it’ll be real interesting. Looking at the Mets’ schedule, it can’t happen in mid-September like usual. The earliest the fest can take place is Labor Day Weekend, where they can be given four days to set up and three days to tear down. I just don’t see it happening during that weekend though, so it’ll probably be in October. They won’t have to worry about the Mets having games because they are unlikely to be in the playoffs. The thing that’ll be interesting to see is if they want to hold it during one of the ACL weekends though. That lineup is solid and I’m not sure they want to be competing with them. If Meadows is at Citi again, I think it’ll be held October 19-21.

That article was just published last week too. Hmm...
Crossing my fingers that it does come back. I feel like the lineup would be mostly booked by now though, no? Perhaps it’s coming back in very late Fall, which I would actually be fine with.
Predicting Nicki and Zedd for this based off of Made in America.
Other than that hopefully they can pull Kanye / GOOD music, and probably some safe legacy rock act like RHCP was last year. I honestly can see Foo Fighters doing this despite all the NYC shows. RHCP sold out a few MSG shows among others before they were revealed for this lineup last year.

I mean, it's June already. The absolute latest they could do this is early October, and even then they only have less than 4 months to book the acts, book the venue, and promote the event. I have a feeling this is dead and they're just gonna make an announcement saying it's coming back in 2019.

What about The Cure as the legacy rock act? They are said to be doing one NA festival appearance and there aren’t many major festivals left (Voodoo, Day for Night, and Meadows).
