Welllppp. I really want to know who the missing band is that delayed this.
I'm extremely down for Gorgon City and Jungle. The top line does not do it for it at all. I like Lumineers, but as a headliner??? I know almost zero of the undercard so who knows maybe I'll find a few gems.
I'm going to the beach regardless, might as well listen to some live music.
No missing band - the artists on the top line were making sure they were billed as top line bands and arguing over what order they are in. Hence 6 bands on top.
This was an interesting post, especially because the #2 is a Paradigm act, whose billing looks high to me. I assumed that and two Cara Lewis acts in the first three were an artifact of this being a second-tier GV fest, and Khalid's subheadliner billing at Coachella bears that out to some degree, but that doesn't explain Cardi as a #5. Strange things afoot.

the only thing to change since the lineup was released was a potential Disclosure DJ set. Havent even seen a lineup i would go to but this is still in the gutter.

Yeah, it's definitely my least favorite Hangout so far. I like GRiZ and Jungle. I could tolerate Ravyn Lenae, Superorganism Shame and maybe Diplo. But even if they were all crammed into 1 day, not a chance I'd pay for this.
As for lineups out this year that I'd go to, I have Buku tickets and I'll likely go to Bonnaroo. Backwoods at Mulberry would have been okay to hit but not the week before Bonnaroo. I like a lot of the mid and upper-mid card of Coachella. I'll watch that one on tv.
It's not looking better to me at all. In fact I think this is easily the worst lineup so far this year.
Yeah this will be my 2nd hangout I’ve missed since 2012. Missed 2015 just do to somethings going on at that time in life but this year missing by choice by far their worse lineup ever imo. I think this year I’m just gonna try and do Beale St or Shaky knees and then my first ACL. Gonna miss hangout and life is beautiful this year.
Such a fun year. First year with Beach access too! Bummer Chance cancelled and Robert DeLong's equipment didnt make it on time. We were actually in the Blu beach area and he was there doing a little meet and greet. Walked right up to him and let him know how much we enjoyed his voodoo set the year before.
my favorite too. ill never forget how hype i was for OutKast all day Sunday. Waited over 2 hours to be about 10 rows from the stage a little off center. I spent most of Saturday by myself and saw almost a set at every time slot. That was the last year of the water slide too.
I thought it was the funnest, but it wasn't my favorite lineup. I still think for the money, 2013 was the best. 2012 had some of the coolest shit I saw at Hangout, and I had a ball at 2014. That was the year the DIPD and BCSO eased up on the crowd a bit.
Hello all - had a question about shuttle system. In the past, my crew has had a different spot where we could walk but this year our condo is a little north and we're pretty close to the North Line pick up spot.
Any reviews about the shuttle? I want the good, bad, and the ugly so I can determine if it's a better option than everyone splitting an Uber/Lyft everyday. It seems from the website that it's a Point A to B and back system for the North line which would be a big pro if that's the case.
Man, was that the effin best Outkast set!? Damn, one of the best I've ever been to overall. Right up there with Arcade Fire at Roo in 2011 & Macca's set there in 13, Cure set at Voodoo in 13, few others. I saw them 2 more times that year (Loufest, Voodoo) & that was the best one of the 3. The crowd was absolutely awesome (beautiful night also).
i was so in awe of the set i opted to not to see them at Firefly a month later bcuz i knew the set couldnt be topped with that demo. Planned on going their day but just didnt wanna spoil the magic.
