They *have* to get Vince back, especially if he's rumored to drop two more albums between January and June. I'd be surprised if Sheck Wes isn't there. Rocky, too; I could see him close the Honda one night. Lil Wayne would be sweet but it doesn't seem like he's doing very many shows. Princess Nokia and Amber Mark are NYC natives I'd love to see here. Missy Elliot was teasing something for 2019 on Twitter not too long ago, if I recall; she'd be fucking awesome. Charli XCX has had herself a year, same with Camila Cabello. Troye Sivan would be cool (and an Ariana guest spot never hurt anyone.) Tierra Whack. Carly Rae. The Internet. Freddie Gibbs. Playboi Carti has a new album/tape coming, apparently. Oh, and Let's Eat Grandma!

6ix9ine won't be here. He would cause much more controversy than tix sold. You could replace him with a Lil Uzi or even Russ and they would sell more tix with much less risk of ruining your festivals image.
I am gonna probably have to agree with Tranter. His STL show got cancelled because of backlash within hours of its announcement. Granted that was last semester and he has gotten much bigger. I personally will be disappointed if any fests book him but he would be a huge get and would probably be relatively cheap because of the controversies

booking 6ix9ine had no negative consequence for Made in America

I would say because it's a hip hop/rap focused festival and most of 6ix9ine's criticism comes from outside the bigger rap fans.
Looks like Chelsea Cutler is in. Gov Ball presents show on Feb 28th.
INITIAL REACTION: ...Who?
Goes to Youtube, listens to a couple of songs
SECOND REACTION: ...Who?
I'm really starting to get the sinking feeling that this is the year I finally end up on the outside looking in, lineup-wise.
Think it's one of these newbies that has a buzz with the whole Soundcloud audience. King Princess, also announced, sold out her two shows in Jan very quick.
I guess the question is would Tame be a headliner or closing out the night playing against the headliner on the main stage.
I think, if Tame gets booked, they headline, unless GovBall *really* steps it up this year in terms of profile of the headliners from past years. And the other folks are right - they're the rare act that appeals to both the kids and the olds. I think they'd do just fine in a headlining slot.
I think Tame can headline this for sure. If Vampire Weekend could, I think Tame Impala could, too.
it really just depends on how much Founders cares about a packed main stage. 2 years in a row Honda drew a bigger crowd on alt-rock night with Phoenix and Jack White.
Maybe they don't care, Tame will probably outdraw both those last 2. But if they are against a hot-right-now hip-hop or pop act right now, it'll happen again.

I wasn’t there this year, so I can’t speak on whoever was against Jack White (Post Malone?).
But for Phoenix, I think Founders vastly underestimated how popular childish gambino would be. But, you raise a very good point.
