Was I the only one underwhelmed by Beach House live
They were a huge buzzkill after Broken Social Scene at Pitchfork in 2016. I didn't give them much of a chance admittedly, but it was hard to follow that BSS set.
Am I allowed to like Azealia Banks again at this point?
I think we've come full circle... I never stopped because her music is too good, although she has made it hard to be a fan at times lol. At least she's admitted to being a mess and it seems like she's trying to do better. Plus, Anna Wintour & Treasure Island are bops!
New Metric album in the fall, they'd be a fun set. Not sure where they'd be billed though.
They are so good live and I've been dying to see them at Roo! The new single is pretty good too
(Sorry for the double post I haven't been able to figure out how to quote more than one person in one post lol)
Just found out they're opening the Smashing Pumpkins tour this summer and there's $20 all-in tickets for every show, def gonna try to hit one of those.

Oh shit I knew they were opening for them but I didn't know about the $20 tickets! Thanks for the tip, I'm definitely gonna grab a few of those too
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
I don't get why anyone thinks a "Kevin Parker Psychedelic Superjam" would be good
Honestly didn't really put any thought into it, I just like Tame. But keep in mind he's recently been doing a ton of collaborations and learning to work and write music with other people, which he never used to do.
I think it's definitely interesting and worth a read. I've been following her career since I first heard '212' because I think she makes fantastic music and I think they made some pretty valid points. The one time she started to lose me was when she publicly supported Trump, but she has thankfully since renounced her support of him.

It is time to get Robert Randolph back on the farm. Been gone way too long. Yes, I knew about the youth movement but both he and Les Claypool (solo) makes sense.

Tyler the Creator was just as good at Lolla as he was at his own show earlier this year. He's dropped so many loosies, I hope he is already working on new music. Even if he isn't, he'd be a great get by Bonnaroo, even though it's only been a couple of years. He knows how to put on a fire show

He's blown up so much more since Flower Boy and has another album on the way. He can definitely return in 2019 and close the Which Stage.

I hated on them as much as anyone before I saw them at Shaky Knees. As much as I wanted to hate them, they're actually really good and to be honest, they'd be a huge ticket mover for Roo. Of course, it's a year late in terms of bang for the buck. They're already three or four times as expensive as they were before this year's festival booking cycle.
I mean, they're obviously doing exactly what Zeppelin did musically, for sure, but they are good musicians. I was surprised and ended up not hating them by the end of the set. I also liked how they dealt with horrible sound trouble at Coachella.

Is this the year Roo finally gets Beck?
Probably not, but he's hella overdue and he did just play OSL. Hoping for either him or Vampire Weekend in the 4-6 range (too realistic to even hope they'd grab both)
