Since 2004 JAMinc has taken studio concert artists to public schools with more than 90,000 students served so far. This donation will be used to underwrite the instructor fees JAMinc provides each artist.

Was thinking this morning that Live From Here has done shows at outdoor music festivals before, would love for that to happen one year. Chris Thile has a big enough connection to Newport that I could see it be a possibility.

Yeah there was one at Telluride last year I believe.

Yeah, I only got to listen to it online but it was a great show. I’ve seen it twice in NYC and once at Tanglewood, and it was chock full of artists that have played Newport a bunch of times. I think July is the off season for the show though, so that could be problematic. One off? I can keep hoping

I've been yearning for this, but I think the biggest barrier to it happening may be that it airs from 6-8 ET

This all looks pretty reasonable to me, though I could see Devon Gilfillian opening the Fort stage.
If there was ever a time for Newport to expand into R&B and hip hop... what better than a guy who is trying out some soul music with the help of Smokey Robinson.

Went back to Andyd's Clashfinder and it was helpful to visualize just how many open slots still are out there. Since we have been getting announcements since late November it feels like we should be done by now, but we still have ~20 to go. Hoping we get a good one in about 10 minutes.
Think it’ll be a solo acoustic Trey set? (It’s not billed as a TAB set).
Any chance it’ll be his new project Ghosts of the Forest? Or would they have billed it as such if so?
I ask because I actually really like the first single off of the new band’s debut album. In some ways it’s a nice mashup of typical Trey and indie rock.
