Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.

If there is anything in the warehouse district, that's essentially in the front yard and easily walkable to festival as well as bars and restaurants. The Central Business District (CBD) is next to that and same scenario just a little further walk. Lower Garden District likely has some Air BNBs that aren't far at all but some of those streets can be sketchy. You aren't close to any streetcars (trolleys to you out of towners) so you'll be trying to cab/uber/bike if you are too far to walk. Also, if you are in the French Quarter and close to Canal Street, you could walk to the festival - like walking thru the Riverwalk and then the Convention Center. Probably a solid 1.5 miles, but easy.
Yay! I got the schedule though I haven't looked at it yet:
Friday Power Plant 03:00 - 03:45 - Iceman Special 04:15 - 05:15 - Toro Y Moi 06:00 - 07:15 - Excision 08:00 - 09:15 - Kevin Gates 10:00 - 11:00 - Lana Del Rey
Alright, now that we've hacked that bitch into existence, here is my early bird schedule:
03:00 - 03:45 - Iceman Special 03:45 - 04:45 - Peekaboo/Sunsquabi split 04:45 - 05:15 - Toro Y Moi 05:15 - 06:00 - Rico Nasty 06:00 - 07:15 - Excision (will have to sneak a little Denzel and From First to Last) 07:15 - 08:15 - Death Grips 08:15 - 09:15 - Yves Tumor/Kevin Gates split (KG never plays 75 minutes I don't think, so this will be compressed) 09:15 - 09:55 - Kidswaste (for anyone who likes Chill like Bob Moses or Odesza, probably worth checking out) 10:00 Lana 11:00 - 12:00 - Carti/RL split
Saturday 03:15 - 03:45 - Thou 03:45 - 04:45 - Papadosio (should be 3 in the morning instead) 04:45 - 05:15 - Earl Sweatshirt 05:15 - 05:45 - Earthgang 05:45 - 06:30 - J.I.D / and Earthgang split with Liquid Stranger 06:15 - 07:30 - GRiZ 07:30 - 08:00 - Oliver Tree 08:00 - 09:00 - A$AP Rocky 09:00 - 09:30 - G Jones 09:30 - 09:45 - Jantsen 09:45 - 10:00 - $uicideboy$ 10:00 - 11:00 - Dog Blood (some time out for Yaeji) 11:00 - 12:00 - The Black Madonna/Mersiv split
Not bad so far. I'll have to look at it harder, because I'm missing a shit ton of sets I would see or like to pass by.
Edit to say that word on the street from someone who knows is that the G Jones show has sold close to the capacity. Buku hasn’t put out a low ticket warning yet, so I’m talking that with a small grain of salt. But if they do put one out, tickets to that after show will be gone soon after
edit: honestly, this is pretty great for me. A couple minor conflicts but all ones that are pretty easy decisions. Bummed to miss Yaeji and may bounce over from Dog Blood at some point but otherwise I'm happy with this.
Friday: Sunsquabi -> Toro y Moi -> Rico Nasty -> Denzel curry -> Death Grips -> Kevin Gates -> Yves Tumor -> Lana Del Ray -> Playboi Carti/Claude split
Saturday: Lil Jodeci -> Tristan Dufrene -> Earl Sweatshirt -> Earthgang -> JID -> Griz -> ASAP Rocky -> $B -> Dog Blood -> Black Madonna
Now give me a house late night with Yaeji and friends and we're all systems go.
So with a closer look, they didn’t oppose Lana much for some reason @ 10:00pm. Tokimonsta plays the Float Den through the first half hour and Mason Maynard has the second half hour in there (and a 15 minute spillover from Mayday Parade). Otherwise nothing, which is kind of odd. She may end up being captivating. I really don’t know what to think. I like her, but coming out of Excision > Death Grips > Kevin Gates and Yves Tumor, it’s almost like a shock to stop me dead in my tracks for that hour. Maybe that’s the point? Otherwise on Friday, my worst conflicts are Sunsquabi vs Peekaboo as both are high on my list. I’ve seen (and love) Sunsquabi twice. So I’ll figure a way to split that. Excision and Denzel sucks too. Those are both also in my Top 6. But since Excision is 75 minutes, I’ll break off in the middle to see a few Denzel songs.
On Saturday, I was disappointed that Liquid Stranger fully conflicts with Earthgang and J.I.D it’s going to be back and forth in 15 minute increments. That’s my third Top 10 conflict. Luckily Wharf is next to Ballroom. Liquid Stranger will be better at Buku than Bonnaroo, but I think his new mixtape Infinity is overall pretty great. Yet the new shit J.I.D dropped is too.
Both of those guys cross the last 15 minutes with Griz which I was hoping to see that whole show. Otherwise I’ll just manage conflicts and be caffeinated.
I know Todd and Moss and am very much looking forward to seeing them again. Once everyone (them, pink, hector, frida, anyone else goin) gets your schedules together, we ought to try to see a set together. Ideally it would be pit for Denzel, but Excision. So maybe Rico Nasty or Toro as those are all probably mutual early Friday. Otherwise anyone’s schedule who crosses with mine, we hit it at anything.
I'm going to be laying on the ground for about an hour after Rico > Denzel > Death Grips with no breaks.
Are you skipping Yves Tumor for that hour? That shit looks like it will be an assault even if abstract. I don’t know. I asked Postjack and jmmaddog when they mentioned him but no one ever replied about what to expect. I’m guessing they hadn’t seen him though idk.
Woooowee! We had to make some really tough decisions (sorry, A$AP, Papadosio, Ekali, and 1788-L).
My least favorite conflicts are: Excision/Denzel Curry (wtf), Lana/Tokimonsta, Suicideboys/Ella Mai, Dog Blood/Yaeji, and A$AP/G. Jones (for REAL?!)
That being said, this is our tentative plan.
FRIDAY Toro y Moi > walk around a bit > Excision > catch maybe the last 20 mins of Denzel Curry > Death Grips > Kevin Gates >Nghtmre/Slander or Yves Tumor > me crying in the front row of Lana Del Rey's goddess presence while my group hangs out at at Tokimonsta; if I'm not feeling the vibe of my queen I'll end up migrating to Toki anyway > RL Grime
SATURDAY Whipped Cream > 10 mins of Earl Sweatshirt > Liquid Stranger > Griz > We Came as Romans > Getter > G. Jones > Suicideboys (I may split to see Ella Mai for a few) > Dog Blood (or Yaeji if I need a break)> Louis the Child.
Gonna be a packed weekend. App is working, wristband is a go, outfits are being worked on, and the hype is real.

Actually not familiar with that artist. Still haven't done any extra research for this festival

I just started listening to him today and now I may sneak away during Nghtmre/Slander to see him. It goes from one extreme to the other, it's experimental, and I am digging it.

Yeah. I don’t really know what to compare it to. Maybe 35% Arca if a bit more to the industrial and lots of live voice looping? Idk. We watched some live sets on YouTube and were left scratching our heads at what we had seen. Most of the performances were different. Looks loud and abrasive for the most part. Gender bending and freakish. So yeah, I’m gonna swing by some. I like Kevin Gates so it’s a split.

One thing I'm confused about is how Fisher got the only 90 minute slot for the weekend. Am I underestimating him? Does he have anything other than Losing It which Chris Lake produced anyways?

I just watched some live sets on Youtube... I don't know. It sounds like what I think a scary acid trip must sound like. Lol. I too am scratching my head.

Could be because of the Grammy nom? He literally has four singles. He seems like a fun party person looking into his live shows and social media.
One person in my group decided to sleep on it, so now he's out a ticket. If anyone here has a GA, we'd be happy to buy it off you. We'll be driving into NOLA around 9pm Thursday night. I trust you guys more than some rando on Facebook/Reddit.
EDIT: nevermind. He bit the bullet and bought VIP.

So my buddy's GF decided to sleep on getting a ticket so we're now scrambling to get one. If any of you are trying to sell one for something that isn't astronomical please hit me up!

Don't you hate it when someone fucks up and everyone else is on the ball? I went and checked Stubhub, and the GA's have gone to over $540 overnight. There was a super vip available for only $570 yesterday morning there. Now there are no official tickets left available in any category except for One Day Saturday TooBuku for $335+. There probably aren't but 5 or so of those left either. Maybe you get lucky and prices will come down on the reliable sites between now and next weekend. Surely someone is going to have to sell a pass for some reason or another. I feel bad for her, but maybe she'll get lucky. Wish I could help, but I don't know of anyone selling tickets.
Look for another late show announcement or two this week.
Also, as they reported a few weeks ago, Buku has partnered with FLIPTIX. It's a concept that if someone has to leave early or is leaving early, they can put the remainder of their day on reserve for someone else who wants to buy it.

Yeah pretty crazy considering we've all booked flights already too... and yeah game plan for the time being is to fly in on Thursday and try to find someone selling that night or Friday morning. We had heard about FLIPTIX so that's our plan B. I appreciate the help esteban
That's probably my favorite after party lineup so far even though it's on the more chill side with Iceman Special and PapaD. I've seen Papadosio probably 7 or 8 times - a couple of those shows were at Tipitina's. Lots of our crew are planning on hitting this as soon as it was announced. I'm more likely to stick with my Wakaan Takeover show. Who knows? They say stay tuned for more late night announcements. They're taking over the whole fucking city that weekend.
All tiers of single and 2 day tickets are sold out. So good for them. Hopefully it won't be too overcrowded.
Oh and Frida, one of my kids had a Frida shirt on today and you were also an answer on jeopardy. Haha lucky day.

Still 8 days away, but the weather is looking good! Hopefully it'll stay that way. Highs in low 70s and lows in upper 50s / lower 60s with little rain chance.
How is the wind/humidity there? I'm assuming pretty high since it's by the water.

It’s almost always humid here, so expect that. It’s on the open river so if it’s windy it will be amplified a little outside by the wharf. Unless there’s a front, it’s not going to be too bad. It’s snowmelt season and the river is super high so the air over the river water can be colder if you’re right up along it. For us it’ll probably be shorts w/hoodies at night weather.
I think they’ll issue another late show and then fill in the gaps on food, map and shit like that. I’ve been trying to stay up on shit as much as I can find, so I’m on the lookout. Seems like a lot of hype from different people around the country over the lineup. A lot of people on reddit and elsewhere have been mentioning first travel (or any) festival. So we will see how that reflects in the crowd. And the prices are ridiculous on Stubhub to reflect it. They’ve come down a little into the upper 500s, but damn. Ida bought a couple extra if I would have known that. Haha

Agreed - shorts, light jacket and you'll be fine. Hopefully a nice breeze off the River. Denzel > Death Grips > Yves is what I most looking forward to seeing.
