Katy Perry. I wondered who the pop act would be. Not sure how I feel about this. Obviously the Stones are what they are, but I was def hoping for something more for the Gentilly Stage.
Yes but it took some time and I only waiting for 2 of the pages. I think they are having a huge influx plus, still loading and tweaking stuff. I don't understand why Rolling Stones aren't on the main poster.

They did a pretty good job spending their money across the different genres they bring. There's nothing besides the Stones that I need to see that I haven't already. But I'll definitely go 2 or 3 days total (including Stones day). Kind of surprised to see Logic there, but he'll close the Gentilly Stage one day.
They got some pretty big shit (Tom Jones, Katy Perry, Van Morrison, Al Green, Fogerty, etc.). They also haven't listed the 20 tributes on the poster other than the Marsalis Family Tribute.
Off the radar stuff I'd want to see - Indigo Girls, Jimmy Cliff, Kamasi, Taj Mahal & Phantom Blues Band and Jonathan Butler & Gerald Albright.

nothing jumps out at me as a must see for the fest. might drive over on a saturday or sunday just to eat and take in the vibez. might catch a night show.
Wow that was pretty underwhelming! I want to see the Stones again but am worried I’ll get shut out on tix. That is effing STEEP though. That’s really the main thing I want to see. Seen all the other headliners and subs I care ab at fest the past 8 years.

For people that know this festival well, the friday grouping of Stapleton, Knight, Clark Jr, Los Lobos, and Kamasi, will those all conflict 100%?
Most probably will. It depends on what they do with Kamasi. If they put him in the Jazz Tent, he probably would close it. If they put him on one of the main stages, he'll probably subheadline (would be really cool if he subheadlined for Gary Clark Jr. that day). You'd think that Stapleton will close the main stage, Gladys Knight (if she can perform) would close either Congo Square or Gospel Tent, Gary Clark Jr. would probably close Gentilly Stage.
Randomly at the bottom of that day out of place is North Mississippi Allstars. There's some other cool shit that day too - Shamarr Allen & Underdawgs, Trumpet Mafia, James Rivers Movement and local trip band The Iceman Special,
Pretty meh for me. Haven’t seen the stones so that would be awesome. Herbie Hancock would be really interesting too. Dave is decent enough but overall this lineup isn’t doing it for me either
