This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo

It seems everyone agrees there is no tried and true way to get a good spot, but what is the opinion on camping by your vehicle or moving? Would it be worth the effort to gather all our stuff and move or is it better to camp beside your vehicle?
Our group decided to go mainly because there are two Pearl Jam fanactics among us. I already have a long list of bands I want to see that weekend, but who are some of the lesser known acts you guys are pumped to see that maybe we should give a listen to.

despite your best efforts, you will likely not see all the bands you plan on seeing. abandon this thought now...
just go into centeroo with some general idea of what appeals to you. swing by the other tents and stages for bands you dont know. just relax and go where you feel like going. it shouldnt be a forced experience
besides, without a schedule in place, its difficult to plan these things...

^^^Idioteque is right - until we get a schedule - kinda hard to plan
but the great thing about Bonnaroo is - go to a show - if you decide it is not for you - wander around - you will eventually hear something that appeals to you
I actually have very few set in stone I know I HAVE to see -- PJ, Metallica, MMJ and Levon Helm -- but there are several more I would like to try to catch for sure. I'm really looking forward to it....not only for the experience but also because it will give me the opportunity to take my first week-long vacation since I started my job seven years ago....going to work that Wednesday morning, get back Monday and report back to work on Thursday!
You will love every minute of it - when we went to our first Bonnaroo - it was the first vacation I had taken in close to 10 years - it was wonderful!! No troubles or worries for the whole time you are there.
As for car camping v. tent camping - I would say that you just need to wait and decide that based on where you get parked. if you are in BFE - it might be worth it to you to haul your stuff to Tent Only - you will be closer to Centeroo - it makes it much easier to swing back by camp for a break, a beer or some food.
But BFE has advantages also - less foot traffic through the camp - a car to lock stuff up in - quieter at night - less po-po.

there were po-po in tent only last year? as in, real, honest to goodness po-po?
ack!
there were alot more po-po closer to Centeroo then there were in BFE - I don't know that they were up in the middle of Tent Only - I cannot say for sure about that one - but I know we hardly saw any out in BFE - not many mounted security either

Im down for a throw down in May, shouldn't be too hard for me to get off if I need to either. I never saw police last year, only the few mounted security outside tent only and RV (Actually I bought some brownies from some guy on the street right infront of the mounted guys last year).

Boz was on his way home from my office when it hit - I was at work - but I left at 2 to head home fro Lakeland - took me over an hour to get home to Wheatley in Ridgeland - sucked big time - and then I left around 4:30 to head for Birmingham. oz stayed home with the kids. One of our friends lives over off Briarwood - he's good, house is good but still no power today.

Ahh ok, thats good. I was surprised that we didnt loose power, usually my neighborhood loses power an hour or two before the storm even starts! My co-worker drove home and right as he parked, a tree fell on his hood. He ran inside and got his moms dog and right as he got back in the drive way he turned around to watch 3 trees fall on the house.
Some say its worse than katrina. I think katrina was a hell of alot worse than this, I kinda have to look for damage for this storm, there was no avoiding the damage from katrina.
5 tornados is what im hearing it was now. Thats alot for jackson, we hardly ever get them.
that was crazy shit to drive in..i was at i55 and coutyline when what ever it was came through there and then made it to wheatley with car shaking like hell from rotation
