Doubt I’ll like Skrillex so I’ll def be at that show 10-15 min into skrillex lol
Finally caught him at a fest this summer and it was great.
He’s the only artists on the lineup that I plan on seeing that i have no idea what the sets going to be like/if I’ll like it. I’ll update post fest. Damn can work be over. Ready to hit the road in the morning

I've seen him a bunch of times over the years. There will be a lot of drops, but the music will fluctuate from dub to dance to pop to workout to hard. I've never not had fun at his sets. They're pretty much just a big EDM party.
How'd it go for you guys? I had a killer time. What a great festival. The sound was fantastic everywhere I went, crowds were so easy to move through, awesome lighting rig on the main stage, spacious camping under trees, the weather felt amazing, and really every set I attended was excellent. And its only an hour from my home.
Crazy ass Tipper and Friends coming to Suwannee in early April. There’s a 50,000 word email about all that it will be including some new spots that have never seen music played. Announcement will be posted online tomorrow. He said he’s bringing a bunch of producers from overseas but the are still waiting on some ability to get here/confirmations and won’t announce the other performers until tickets go on sale. He said he’ll working with at least one visual artist he’s never worked with before. I had it read to me so I don’t remember a thousandth of it. But it seems like it will be another badass run.
With presale being so much I hope they got some awesome acts. I’m really wanting to make it out to Sawunnee. Have friends that have been going out there for years and always say I’d love it. Always just am working on Halloween. Maybe this year I can make it out if it’s good enough.
You knew Black Pumas would be on it just because. Not my favorite Hulaween lineup as there is shit like Jauz and Louis the Child I wouldn't see. But as usual there's plenty of great shit - String Cheese, STS9, Disco Biscuits, Manic Focus Live, Opiou, J.I.D, Liquid Stranger/Wakaan Takeover (sorely missing from Bonnaroo), Lettuce, etc.
Also LP Giobbi with the Femme House Takeover. Haha. I'd probably see some of that.
I think they usually do additions, so maybe there will be some more acts.
I love it this year, just the names don’t seem to be worth the price. Maybe I’ll go still. I heard it’s a beautiful campground it’s awesome art.
Its a great festival and venue. I'm pretty underwhelmed by the lineup, but I'll still go and have fun if I can get in for a decent price on resale. Luckily I live 1 hour away, so I can wait till the very last minute to decide
Never too early to start planning costumes. Last year i was basically broke and recycling old costumes... This year I will be broke but will have a brand new credit card so its time to debut some new looks. Def getting with friends and setting up a pokemon day... Dunno what else yet...
Def not as strong as other years. For the price point def won’t be swinging it this year.
This is my favorite Hula lineup so far.
I'll be too broke from Bourbon & Beyond to attend, but I'd have to wait to see the full lineup to determine how it stacks up with previous years.
For me:
The plusses - Disco Biscuits, STS9, SCI, Manic Focus Live Band, Liquid Stranger/Wakaan Takeover, Dirtwire (Beats Antique Side Project), Maddy O'Neal, J.I.D
The minuses - Louis the Child, Gigantic NGHTMRE, JAUZ, The Jamflowman, MZG, Elohim

Haha, The Jamflowman =D Yeah, I know a lot of ppl aren't too fond of Twiddle, but I can get down to the whole sentimental cheesiness of it all, some of it anyway.
I saw Jauz at Roo and it was incredibly uninspired so I feel you on that one.
Big fan of NGHTMRE, certainly you gotta be in the right mood for it tho (which is easy to manage at a festie =)
I really love all the Indie Rock/Pop they've bagged this year. It's definitely going to be quite the different soundtrack from previous years. And back to your list, the Dirtwire project is soooooo sick. With Hula, if I'm not excited about an artist that's on, it gives me plenty of opportunity to explore and fall in love. Hula is my favorite fest... I can't imagine missing it for anything. Have fun at Bourbon & Beyond. I miss Kentucky with all my heart.

I don’t hate NGHTMRE, I just feel like Big G long ago ran its course. Best collab I ever saw with them was Giant Underground Conspiracy (including Conspirator and Underground Orchestra) back at Waka ‘15 at like 3am. Shit was wild. Someone told me there was once a Big Grizmatik which would have been cool as well. I don’t even hate Twiddle (outside of the jam flow man). I think I’ve seen them 5x. Their bass player is really good, and they can for sure jam. But it doesn’t go far enough out for me. I’ll pass by if they’re playing somewhere I’m at, but it’s not anything calling out to me. And yeah, Dirtwire is great. I only saw them once which was Voodoo 2017 or 2018, but that show was great. I didn’t realize that Dave Satori has had that project going for 10 years.

The Gigantic NGHTMRE set at EDC was pretty fn sweet. Its up on Apple Music so I'm assuming it's on Spotify too.
90 Days till Hula. I've got this weird mix of nervousness and pure fn excitement. Waiting on a date for a surgery so I am manifesting that it falls right in the middle of now and hula... Maybe sooner. I know I won't be healed but I feel like as long as I've had at least 30 days to heal, I'll be good to go.

This is my favorite Hula lineup so far.
Recommend some good artists to me. Personally this is my least favorite Hula lineup in a while, but I may just be missing out on unknown artists. I've never been and a ton of my friends are going but my budget's limited to one fest this year.

Go see PTM, Two Feet, and A Hundred Drums for me.
Yeah we have around 20-30 people we know who always go to Hula since the second year and I think maybe 3/4 people are going this year. Lineup took a big step down and the vibe of the lineup changed as well. I’d check out Sylvan Esso, Black Pumas , Neil Francis , Margo Price , Dirtwire , Molly Tuttle, Lp Giobbi, and Desert Hearts

Yes I will be front and center for those three for sure. Two Feet is soooooooo good!
STS9, Lewis Del Mar, Black Pumas, Sylvan Esso, Dirtwire, Opiuo, Cory Wong, Circles Around the Sun, LP Giobbi, Maya Jone Coles, Of The Trees, Mindchatter, Fisher, Tripp St, Leftover Salmon, Margo Price, Eazybaked, Ravenscoon, any of the desert hearts dude (particularly Porky)... And the obvious ones (if some of the others aren't)... Rainbow Kitten Surprise, CloZee, NGHTMRE, Big Gigantic, Lettuce, Fisher, Cheese, Gorgon City. This lineup is juicy af.

Also J.I.D if you like rap, Biscuits. Also Maddy O’Neal is pretty good. I haven’t seen her in years, but she was on some bills with Pretty Lights and Manic Focus. She’s kind of different and does her own EDM thing. Some dub some voice, changes up a bit.
