Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Also I will be dressed in my chicken rider pants (featured as profile pic) pretty much everyday unless I see it’s gonna rain. Other than that I will probably also be wearing a mushroom hat, or maybe my Pokémon hat lol. I might be faced and talkative or maybe I’ll be not able to form words, we’ll just wait and see. But feel free to say hi and hang!
I had to look at the schedule since some people were downing on it a couple weeks ago and the conflicts. I didn't like Thursday all that much, but I'd go to Maddy O'Neal and then the Wakaan Takeover though Disco Biscuits/Liquid Stranger would piss me off. Iceman Special isn't bad either. That's a psyche-blues band out of SWLA/Lake Charles that I think lives here. Friday would be Cheese, Opiuo, Cheese, Manic Focus, Portugal, Circles Around the Sun. Saturday I would hit Molly Tuttle, Eazybaked, Cheese, Dirtwire, Cheese, Lettuce, Cheese, J.I.D/STS9, Tokimonsta, Leftover Salmon. Sunday would be Cheese, Cory Wong, JRAD, Toubab Krewe. Not bad but Sound Tribe/J.I.D and Biscuits/Liquid Strangers would have been the two conflicts that annoyed me. Also, that's a lot of String Cheese which is okay with me.
I hope you all have fun and will look forward to the reports.

The tokimonsta drop would have been a big blow for me. Glad LP Giobbi could keep the stage movin tho.
Overall I rate my Hula fomo 4/10. I love it there but I saw a post about how hard it is to sleep with every other campsite dj-ing til sunup and it made me happy for the regular sleeps I'm getting right now.
My first Hula was a blast! Only thing I’m upset about is that now I don’t want or think I can miss another Hulaween. And I already get off for Shaky and Roo every year. My boss is gonna hate me lol. It was nice meeting Bubba and dancing at Dirtwire!
Top sets I saw were 1) The Fearless Flyers 2) Cory Wong 3) Dirtwire 4) JID 4) Saturday’s Cheese cover set 6) Of The Trees 7) Portugal. The Man 8) Franc Moody 9) Mindchatter 10) Sylvan Esso
Campgrounds was awesome, all the art was so cool, literally so much going on and so much to do that it was almost too much. Definitely get the hype now and honestly think Hula Magic is the closest thing to Roo magic.
Not even a HUGE fan of these names I’m about to list but I still like and enjoy them. But I think I would have to go back if Goose or Billy Strings was one of the headliners. I need to see Billy come out with Cheese and I need to see Rick come out and play with Cheese too. Both I think would be amazing selling points and a perfect fit for Hula. Not even a huge fan of either and both would get me back. And maybe some will disagree but I think King Gizz would be amazing for Hula too. If they can get Primus then they can and should get Gizz. Would also like to see Big Wild, Durand Jones, Polo & Pan, Daily Bread, Weval, Thundercat, and Parcels play. And in the RTJ/JID rap spot I’d love to see Denzel Curry since he’s from Florida anyways.
Yay!!! Hula is like no other. Glad you loved it. I totally agree about Gizz playing there. People would love it. Billy and Goose would be great gets. Hope they book more jam bands next year! Saturday night Cheese cover set is always worth the ticket. Glad you saw that

was told not to miss the saturday cheese sets and I definitely get why now. And yes Gizz would destroy Hula and I think the people would love it. Def cool with some more jam bands next year.

Durand Jones & Daily Bread were there in '21!
Love Franc Moody god they kick ass
damn well I hope both come back soon. They seem to do a lot of repeat artists. I feel like half this lineup was the same as 2017s
Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. So much magic this year.
dblood - So grateful I ran into you at Dirtwire, my man. Glad you enjoyed your first Hula! You are a beautiful human!
I had such an incredible week from start to finish. I didn't have any problems sleeping in Renaissance, as a matter of fact I got the best sleep I've ever had at a festival. Last night there was a send off set in my camp, but it was kept at a reasonable volume. Spirit Lake looked phenomenal this year. They moved several things around and the flow of everything was a thing of beauty. Frick Frack was extra fn crazy this go round. People were losing half their beards, their eyebrows, and some girl even wagered a tape worm in a jar she recently had removed. Good times.
1. STS9 literally took me to church... This was the best set I've ever seen from them. I could not stop dancing, moving, smiling, and messages from the universe were literally just beaming right into my soul. My favorite of the weekend. 2. CHEESE. I got so much Cheese in this year and I don't regret one second. 3. Fisher was juicy af. I was really excited to see Gorgon City and was a little surprised that they didn't bring the right energy and also left out a few of my favorite tunes, but everything I felt I missed out with them was delivered with extra from Fisher. I'm really impressed with this guy. 4. Dirtwire was a whole party. Need more of this act at every festival. 5. Portugal. the Man even covered Nirvana and played a lot harder than I expected from them. Rly great set and I really enjoyed the Indigenous Alliance who came out before the set... They were spreading an important message that I'm so happy was able to reach the Hula audience. And if it made anyone uncomfortable, GOOD! 6. Of The Trees is so fn sick and seeing him throw down at the Amp was such a privelege! 7. JRAD was exactly what I needed on Sunday. SO GROOVY, bb! 8. Sylvan Esso is a real treat. Amelia's voice is like butter. 9. Twiddle, wow. I think I expected these guys to be more laid back, but damn they went in hard. It's also nice to see a jam band that has a great vocalist, cuz that's def not the common theme... Particularly with Disco Biscuits, ouch. 10. Jantsen. I wasn't even going to catch this guy, but so glad I did. Don't always vibe heavy with the wub, but this guy brought something special. Everybody was moving!
Shout out to Opiuo as well! Lots of great sets this week, too many to list. The Suwannee vibes were at an all time high. Another legendary week in the books for Hula. I agree with you dblood we rly need Goose at Hula. I actually asked why they weren't on the lineup this year and I was told (and I quote), "It takes two to tango." I would say maybe next year but Goose is headlining Okee so who knows. Hopefully one day.
Thank you to all the beautiful souls who contributed to a phenomenal collective energy. My heart is full.
