I know this isn't Prima's fault, but there's no chance I let them hold onto my money for 2+ years. Also don't think 2021 is going to be a good year to a launch a new festival.

It’s a tricky situation because they likely need that money to put it on but you are taking the gamble by getting your money back that it will make the fest not financially viable in a global recession.

You mean Live Nation needs the money? Dont forget they partnered with them and likely there had to be some financial backing in there, especially for logistics because Prima doesnt have any presences in LA to do everything that has to be done to get it done at the park.

The way I see it is that LN still wants to make money and fests are expensive to put on and most don’t make money for the first couple of years. Obviously not all first year fests don’t have LN backing so maybe this is different. I don’t find it out of the realm of possibility that they decide later on that it will not deliver the revenue they need in a critical time for the entire industry. I’m not advocating people not get refunds but keeping your ticket shows that you’re very interested in keeping this fest afloat
