Seriously. Primavera in Barcelona was way cheaper when I went in 15 & 16 and the line ups were stacked. This LA version is a poor value.
fwiw the median income in LA is like 2 or 3x Barcelona so that is probably part of it
Barca has triple the capacity and more sponsors. You can def see how sponsorships effect price at u.s fests. ( lolla, ACL ) Dont know how they didnt try to keep any or get some after the initial postponements. Like they wanna say its gonna be cool cause itll be a smaller setting but you wont be getting your moneys worth when it ends at midnight and the extra shows beforehand arent included in the price. FYF in 2017 was $322 after fees and that was in a larger setting with a lineup you could compare this to. So we’re gonna talk about 4 years of inflation? The target price is floating around $300 for a 3 day weekend for an LA fest that isnt Coachella.
Tier 2 pricing now. $473 after fees with shipping.
that's really expensive. wow.
Gonna hit $500 in tier 3 easily. I think they timed this price change. They tweeted out a sale reminder right at 2 and i checked. No password needed and higher price. I think they just sold what they could for 4 hours and left it be.
Maybe, but I wouldnt count on it. Its selling like shit so this will prob be a boost just for the Arctic Monkey and NIN days initially. They probably have some Coachella and so cal tour acts to drop in there and just gotta wait it out.
This is my personal favorite lineup of any socal fest in 2022, but I am almost surely not able to go More than two days so I’m pretty happy they are doing daily tickets.
They're really gonna wait to drop the single day lineups at the same time as the sale, huh?
The 3-day price is a scam, but I can definitely justify single-day price if I can get an Arctic Monkeys/Stereolab/Dry Cleaning day.
Yeah its pretty bullshit. I figured they would have just dropped it an hour before so you can get people excited. Now youre gonna make them possibly try to panic buy instead. The singles will be a bigger scam at tier 3 when its gonna cost $500 for a pair of tickets and a 3 day costs $500 right now
edit: Arctics look like Sunday cause their tour date page updated to just show the 18th.

Ehhh...not the best splits for me. Friday undercard is pretty stacked but it's a work day for me, while I'm not into the weekend undercards much. Ah well, spent plenty of money this last week on concert tickets as is.
