Considering The Shins are already doing JLH this weekend (which may or may not be an Inverted World set, tbd), they probably weren't able to sign on to Primavera.
Gorillaz with a Forum date a few days after this. I do wonder if Primavera attempted to book and couldn't, but you'll see me at that show.
Arctic Monkeys' drummer said that their new album that should come out this summer is a continuation of the sound on the last album, though slightly more up-tempo but "the days of riffs like on AM are over."
Will be interesting to see how that goes over in probably this fest's biggest commercial draw.
That's just marketing speak though. The next album after that will be "a return to our roots" and the album after that will be "probably our heaviest album ever".

If NIN weren't playing I would have probably sold my passes by now. But even with the lineup as it is, the early bird pricing is worth it I guess. Still, give us those adds!

I think that they thought they were gonna be the only game in town. And then got pummeled by adjacent events and thought the brand was gonna be enough to make it sell when its not. Like you cant come into Gv's backyard and think you got it on lock somehow. If this was priced same as Barcelona then there wouldnt be too many issues right now. Like most people wouldve felt fine spending ~$200 on a weekend and treat the adds as a bonus.
Geez that’s it? Seriously, NIN + undercard acts are the only reason I’m on the look out for a cheap last minute pass. Otherwise I would have written this off.

Plus at this point, if they're struggling to move tickets, they would have announced any big names they're holding out on. Does make me wonder what else Wilco is a candidate for given their gap that weekend, though.

IF they are standing by all of their nonsense statements from 6 months ago there should be 2 headliners a day. But who the hell knows now. Theyre probably going to lose so much money it might not be worth it for LN to spend more on a lost cause. If that weekend is severely undersold itll make for a non shitshow at least.
