Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

The biggest issue with trying to do this in America is the curfew imo. There's something so special about seeing the sunrise while dancing to the fest closers every night of this thing.

I also wonder if they’ll stagger the bigger acts more here or schedule it more like a traditional American festival.
Aren't aftershows only for fests with 10 PM curfews?
Think it'll be run like FYF at Historic the year before they moved to Expo (2013). Four stages, 2-3 acts on most times, curfew at midnight, headliners play 10:30-12:00 roughly.
Maybe a couple DJs doing aftershows at warehouses/clubs after midnight each night.

Recent/Upcoming/Planning: 3/22 - Catfish & The Bottlemen 4/16 - CHVRCHES 5/17 - Florence + the Machine 7/23 - The Head and the Heart 8/20 - Kacey Musgraves 9/20-22 - Life is Beautiful Festival 10/4 - Ingrid Michaelson
Hoping it fills the void FYF left. Haven't seen any music at LA State Historic Park since then.
Anyone attend shows since the revamp? Guess it'll be a bit more confined with multiple stages.
I have - saw Interpol and Deerhunter there on the TOBTL tour. They're going to have to get pretty creative to fit ~3 stages in there, it felt kinda max capacity for the space and there were probably ~10-15k people there. I'm sure they'll figure it out, but I also wouldn't be shocked if this fest looks a lot like that Primavera Weekender thing than a real Primavera.
