Hoping it fills the void FYF left. Haven't seen any music at LA State Historic Park since then.
Anyone attend shows since the revamp? Guess it'll be a bit more confined with multiple stages.
I have - saw Interpol and Deerhunter there on the TOBTL tour. They're going to have to get pretty creative to fit ~3 stages in there, it felt kinda max capacity for the space and there were probably ~10-15k people there. I'm sure they'll figure it out, but I also wouldn't be shocked if this fest looks a lot like that Primavera Weekender thing than a real Primavera.
It'll look more like Primavera Porto rather than the Barcelona edition.

Theres some more room past where thy had the stage for Interpol, so they can figure it out. Considering if its only that part of the park they can fit in 3 stages and maybe a small tent. Theres a couple festivals there next weekend so there will be another layout to look at. and HARD Day Of The Dead is going back there in nov, so easily that can be a template.
Not exactly. There was the rolling stone story with Paul T and there was a part explaining how they go about picking talent and such, even if its just spitting out random names. So Kate Bush came up, but it wasnt like an effort made to do it. So knowing how everything gets taken out of context nowadays, every headline was that Coachella tried to book Kate Bush, when it never went farther than just conversation between 2 people.
You said they're "going for" her but is there reason to believe that her playing is likely in anyway. Also wanna give us any other hints?

Shouldve said teasedyesterday. But again, just buzz. I would rather have them tease like this and it means none of these acts play.
Seems like there's absolutely no way Kate Bush would do a one off festival show, considering her other two tours were both such huge theatrical productions, and were thirty-five years apart and she's never done a show in America, etc. But, I want to believe. That would be an insane coup for the fest.
No reason Supergrass cant play this. Theyre re uniting for 25 years and announcing 2020 dates next week apparently. Its almost on par with it being a year til the fest, and something like that can get some momentum.

I'd rather have them do their own tour but I'll take a festival set if thats the only choice in America.
