They just put up a TBT tweet with Neil Young from 2009 in it. No idea what to think with this lineup.
They just enjoy posting stuff, except american audiences think its teasing and hinting. So it frustrates everyone to no end. Everyone just wants to find out if their early bird tickets were worth it or not when the first announcement comes out.

The live aid one? Theyve announced a chunk of acts already. I mean i dont know if metallica will stick after herfields rehab stint but who knows. Itll hit major cities though, check the link.
Having missed out on my festivals of choice the last couple of years, I need this fest to deliver more than ever. It may very well be my next opportunity. Here comes the painful year of having to watch this thing slowly leak while not living up to my unrealistic expectations.

I admit that I am also probably overly excited by the chance for this festival to be really good and bring some rare acts. FYF was pretty great but the venue wasn’t my favorite. Love the historic park. Fingers crossed.

They posted on instagram a collage and it has a bunch of pics or Tame Impala on it. I mean if theyre playing then it would make for a March announcement, unless they did have some Coachella acts on it. Or they can just give out a couple names every other tuesday for 6 weeks.
Maybe FYF will come back with MCR headlining. They'd be perfect for that.
With Virgin Fest happening in June, and the status of Arroyo Seco unknown, the markets getting crowded in LA again. Dont know what they would try to pull off with Flog Gnaw doing very well and Tropicalia. If Just Like Heaven comes back and is stacked to the gills? How do you try to revive FYF when there is zero need at this moment. And GV could just try another day fest in Pasadena with somebody else like The Cure and have then pick the bands. If the weather didnt suck so badly it wouldve been an even better day for music aside from the long line to get in.

I don’t know, with Virgin and Prima LA in the market now, I feel like GV will try to have another FYF type festival late summer, instead of daily genre specific fests.
