I can't say I've ever had an issue with drunk teens at festivals. I understand the point of certain people ruining sets if they're being assholes but in my experience it's usually wooks or 40 year old white dudes in wrap around Oakley's.

Yeah, i've had sets at all sorts of festivals that hit an annoying point cuz of idiots. I just certainly noticed it more at GovBall being teens around me because of the circumstances of the fest (hot days leading to more passing out/needing medical assistance, beer prisons for 21+ drinkers, city festival without late night sets so more unaccompanied minors as opposed to families bringing their teens). But my time at many Bonnaroos featured mostly wooks and grown ups being in that role. I've had to move my spot a bunch of times at Roo due to that nonsense
Getting puked on definitely hampers the fun at the end of a festival day, though. Especially when you still have to ride a bus and a train for a couple hours before you can get home. Avoided that before GovBall. But also heard plenty of stories or had friends stepping in/getting some kind of other wasted people's bodily fluids at pretty much every festival I've gone to. Except Newport. That still remains untainted for me.

Amazingly my worst festival moment ever was at Newport where someone stumbled out of the beer pier, then slammed their way into the children’s tent and shoved my child aside so they could get a better view of Hiss Golden Messenger.
the only truly bad experience ive had due to drunks at a fest is my arm brushing against vomit on a trash can after AM finished their osheaga set. god that was terrible
that being said i dont like being anymore than like 2 or 3 drinks in at a show. would much rather smoke some ouid, osheaga 2019 was especially nice because it was completely allowed and you could smoke wherever you wanted.

Damn. That's lame. I can definitely see it happening considering the proximity and maybe someone rushing but doesn't make it right. Plus, those kid tent shows are usually pretty easy to get a decent spot anywhere but I'm guessing this had a big draw. Still no excuse.
GovBall 2017 was my worst. Some dude just straight up pushed me out of my spot and said "It's not a me problem, it's a weight room problem bro" waiting for Childish Gambino.

Yeah, I prefer the substances that make me super chill or just really happy to see everyone. Being hammered at a show has never really been my jam.

Your profile pic shows that you did in fact hit the weight room after this

The dude yelling "have you seen Across the Universe??" in this girl's ear in between make-out seshes during Paul McCartney at ACL was annoying at the time but it's funny to think about now so I guess it evens out.
Only the most expensive tickets are left. And very nice of them to just ask for $50 in fees without context. You would think they might have learned to hide the greed. Plus still charge for shipping.

It's certainly annoying but gotta feel for these organizers, if it's not a pandemic it's thunder and lightning. They finally have a chance to make a buck.
It stung a little to pay $300+ for a Friday + Saturday day passes but I get it this year.

reminds me of seeing the killers at BSMF and the couple in front of us kept holding each other by the head and yelling lyrics into each other's mouths
