Looks like Stubhub has declared this event postponed instead of cancelled. So no refunds for anyone. This is annoying for me on the seller side because I bought tickets to both weekends and ending up selling weekend 1. Now I’d rather go for weekend 1 based on the new dates, but I can deal.
I’d say this is an easy lawsuit but at this point stubhub would just declare bankruptcy and walk before they gave in on anything major.

I'm in the same boat only I sold W2 passes. This is such bullshit especially considering Vivid Seats is calling this cancelled and is offering 110% credit or refunds. They even list the event with Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott & Frank Ocean which hasn't been confirmed. I know they're already being sued and this just makes things worse.
I’m still sitting on Rolling Stones tickets with no end in sight. At least Goldenvoice is being communicative. Tours like that one have just postponed and bailed which means the buyer and I have no way to resolve this issue until they change the fucking terminology.
Has anyone gotten refunds on regular concerts? I have a couple of tickets to shows that haven't even sent an email out anything
Yeah, a bunch: Waxahatchee, Bikini Kill, Liz Phair, Kurt Vile, my fiance got our Bright Eyes refund. Just waiting on Vampire Weekend and a decision on Bon Iver. And haven't heard anything about Man Man. Both Bon Iver and Man Man were "postponed" though, not rescheduled or cancelled.

Multiple refunds, but they've taken varying times depending on the promoter. Eventbrite refunded me within a few days for U.S. Girls and Weyes Blood, while Ticketmaster has taken a week or two for my various events. AXS, on the other hand, took over a month to refund my canceled Bright Eyes show.

I’ve got all my refunds (that I wanted and didn’t accept postponment) exceot Young Nudy. Which is postponed with no date. It was at the Roxy if that matters.

Outside Lands officially changed their dates to next year and released next year's lineup along with it. Not as good as the leak they had this year (which I was surprisingly on board with) - lots of names missing. Wonder if that's because of budget cuts or artist tour changes.

OSL has a lot more competition in August than Coachella would. Euro fest season is in full swing by then.
Yeah, Euro fests were likely already working on next year anyway and had some acts locked in even before covid. Im sure without any guarantees for artists by the likes of Lolla, HARD or Osheaga, just doing the one SF date isnt that attractive or lucrative given the climate.
Is it reasonable to think Tyler the Creator is in play for 2021? I know he didn't speak positively of the last time he did Coachella in '18 but with CFG 2020 likely not happening this would be the one time GV would actually consider slotting him in as a headliner. At the very least, I'd imagine he's at the top of the list of artist's they'll contact if Frank Ocean drops.
Can someone ask the old lady from Egypt what she thinks of Lana Del Rey headlining Coachella so we can know whether the festival has redeemed its reputation as a laughingstock worldwide

Tyler would be a pretty underwhelming replacement and I don’t consider him big enough to headline Coachella. A lot of artists top him.

Yeah I think Tyler headlines but not in 2021. He needs an album to hit the same way as Igor or Flower Boy. If it does AND Coachella gets the first show before Flog he could.
Tyler with a new album is nothing short of a headliner. I don't see him dropping a new album by Coachella 2021, though. But with all this extra time for artists to work on music, who knows. He wouldn't be an underwhelming Friday headliner, generally speaking, at all in my opinion. (He would just be an underwhelming RATM replacement IF that's where he was booked). 2022 would probably be the move though. I do think we keep all 3 2020 HLs though.

Only thing I'd say is that reaching the level he's reached is no guarantee he'll continue down that path. Lots of acts have gotten to subheadliner level and not beyond. Simply having a new album doesn't make him a headliner, and frankly I'm dubious he'll get much further than he has - perhaps the "weak" headliner but not beyond (though he's surprised me to this point); and I say that as someone who likes Tyler.
I'd argue Tyler is bigger in every sense than Florence and the Machine who has headlined pretty much every show she's played after Coachella 2015. I don't see people beyond Inforoo and some sections of Reddit questioning his draw as a headliner. Also OF is probably the biggest music group to come out of last decade and the guest list of them alone would be massive. He's also worked with Ye, ASAP, Jack White, and many many more.

I wouldn’t say it’s a guarantee his trajectory goes up but just looking at Tyler and how he’s reinventing himself, the connects he has, the Grammy, his #1 album, I would be shocked if his next piece of work doesn’t push him over the top. Plus Coachella/LA/it would be a great look for both parties.
