Good. Yesterday I heard about two massive tours slated to happen in the spring and was getting worried that Coachella would actually happen in April. I think scheduling for fall 2021 is the far safer bet

Yeah, set myself up for that one. Sorry I can’t say more. I wanted to let you all know that some headlining caliber tours are hoping to happen then and that’s the most I can say.

So say Coachella moves to October but some tours like Rage still go forward, would Rage just play LA during those original Coachella dates? Would they still be on for Coachella or would they probably be out? If touring can still happen but not large scale festivals, I have a hard time seeing Rage NOT doing an LA show until Coachella.

I feel like they’re more likely hold on to Rage of all of them. But a year and a half will age a lineup in a very expensive way. I imagine the new lineup will be fairly different by that point.

Which tours?
Billie Eilish had her tour that went into April this year before everything hit the fan, that would be considered massive. She aint playing Coachella.
Gv holds onto Rage no matter what happens. Rage probably had another LA Rising day fest and it wouldve happened this October right before the election. Would be difficult to make firm plans on it if Coachella couldnt even happen in April much less their rescheduled arena tour.

Billie headlining during her rescheduled, sold-out tour would actually make a lot of sense. She'd probably help with sales.

IMO of all the 2020 headliners, I’d say Frank is the biggest priority to hold onto, even over Rage. Say they’re in a situation where some new headliners become available and only one slot is available from 2020, I think Frank is undeniably the pick.

Frank is probably the biggest priority because he’s the most rare and the least likely to have played shows before a fall chella. If the Rage tour happens, they’ll be old news by Oct.
If it’s pushed back an entire year and a half from the original 2020 dates, I really can’t see them holding onto any of the headliners. A lot of new music will have come out by October 2021, and I can’t see Coachella passing on more relevant projects to keep Rage, Frank, and Travis.

I don’t really think any arena level tour will happen til the second half of 2021, which would make Rage not old news.

So Frank with a new album is not relevant?
Even if he doesn't drop, it doesn't matter. He is a rare act
Travis makes no sense unless he has a new album and its his 1st show with it
Travis can wait honestly, the lineup needs more excitement and he is the headliner who is easiest to bring back
My guess is if the Coachella check still got paid to Frank for 2020, then we won’t see him doing live stuff for 3 or 4 years. If he didn’t get paid, then he will probably do 2021

Coachella isn’t going to be the first large scale music event. If arena events aren’t happening by June/July then Coachella ain’t either.

damn, crazy that they’re still going through with the Confidence Man and Zebra Katz stadium tours.
