A little off subject, but I’m currently quarantined for 2 weeks, so I’ve been rewatching some of the past Coachella streams to pass some time. There is a few streams I’d like to watch that I don’t currently have. If anyone has any of these and are willing to share that would be great! Thanks!! 2011 Arcade Fire 2012 Arctic Monkeys The Black Keys The Hives 2014 Beck OutKast Pharell 2015 FKA Twigs 2016 Anderson.Paak Calvin Harris Flume Ice Cube Jack U Major Lazer Run The Jewels 2017 Dillon Francis Future Gucci Mane Hans Zimmer Kendrick Lamar Lorde Mac Miller Radiohead W1 The XX Travis Scott 2018 Bleachers Børns Fleet Foxes Greta Van Fleet Highly Suspect Jamiroquai Miguel Post Malone PVRIS Rezz The Weeknd 2019 Alice Merton Bad Bunny Bassnectar Billie Eilish CHVRCHES DJ Snake Gryffin J Balvin Kacey Musgraves Kid Cudi Rufus Du Sol Weezer YG Zedd
Can you imagine how disappointed we're all going to be when the lineup drops and Travis Scott is still on the lineup and Frank isn't?
Is that surprising though? Frank is a tough act to book for anything. Travis will at some point be looking to get back out on the road. He has also had new material in the works for a while and the follow up to Astroworld is coming. I’d say Travis would want to reschedule.
The reason I’m not convinced he will be back for 2021 is Coachella appeared to be the last date of his tour. I don’t think he’s going to start a tour at Coachella or do it as a one off. I think Travis could be back in 2022.

If pushed to October '21, I could see artists being rebooked from the '20 lineup split between both '21 and '22 since they'll only be six months apart.
There’s no way GV would just shift Coachella permanently to October, right?
( under normal circumstances ) Nope. Look at everything that happens in October/Nov as it is and its pretty crowded. Theyve also back loaded their own festival year to have a lot now with Tropicalia, Flog Gnaw and Day N Vegas. Why have their signature event take over the others and just shoot themselves in the foot. ACL/Voodoo are the last ones to happen so whats the point of disrupting any of that. And ( if it still exists ) Desert Daze would be right in the time frame of an October Coachella. The weather is also a factor to consider since you increase your chance of rain.
They’ll go back to one weekend before they ever consider changing the month it happens. And I think Coachella 2022 could be the year for it to happen, unless they feel theres going to be so much demand from the general public to consume as much live entertainment as possible that they could get a straight up sellout with a not so hot line up.
My sister and her bf got tested and came over and it’s my first time spending time with people in a normal context. I’m drunk and playing Disclosure and I can’t help but think how amazing their show would have been on the Polo Fields

If this was any other year I could come in here and get a good laugh at 4 or 5 people absolutely clowning on some guy for saying an industry insider told him our 2021 headliners are Billie Eillish - U2 - Kanye West.

Seeing the frenzy over Travis Scott and McDonald’s makes it even funnier when you guys say “Coachella should just postpone him and get him whenever they want”

I'm sure GV saw this Travis Scott x McDonald's collab and thought "Damn, we HAVE to get Travis now!"
Or they’re business people who realize they have one of the biggest artists out currently and allowing him to get bigger and just pay him the following year is foolish
