I really don’t expect them to get Billie but is anyone going to actually be upset if they do? There was a post today where someone (can’t remember who, sorry) was excited for old crow medicine show and had to try very hard to get tickets. If they get Billie I’d consider myself lucky. Also, no chance she doesn’t give that show 150%

Also just reread that post and it seemed like I was making fun of Druid. No disrespect to OCMS or Druid. More trying to show that I feel like Coachella could come through with crap and still sell a ton of tickets
GV would have to compensate LN for taking their act just like Ariana. ( you forget she has 3 shows at the forum that need to be rescheduled ) You want to argue that theyre in that kind of position to do that right now? We dont even know if theyre going to sell more tickets from whats left. So the secondary market would get a bump and nothing else.

Not insulted. I'm not that excited about seeing OCMS. I am excited about getting the fuck out of the house for something other than work and seeing a show in my favorite venue, with only 125 people in a place that holds 2,362.
And dinner. My guest is buying me dinner. And drinks.

Kavinsky, Lianne La Havas, and Boris Brejcha would all be amazing pick ups for me.
Kanye/Adele/Frank would be a nutty top 3, regardless of how I feel about Kanye.
They’ve probably begun negotiating with/ reached out to the headliners they’re aiming for. I think we keep at least 2/3 headliners we were getting this year though.

Also FWIW I've seen a rumor that Rage are dropping their festival dates. I don't know the legitimacy of that but it is worth noting that Reading & Leeds is listed as a 2021 festival on Rage's site yet R&L recently just announced their 6 headliners and Rage ain't one of them.
I think Frank and Kanye for the next Coachella makes sense in these circumstances. Artists like Rage have a whole tour to schedule around so it's understandable to get out of festivals that have unstable statuses with dates they can't control. Artists like Frank and Kanye probably aren't going on tours so this wouldn't be an issue for them.

I get there’s financial/contractual reasons to keep the same artists, but by next October I’m going to be ready for a fresh batch of names on the poster. I’m starting to blow past the “I’d see anything” phase of missing live music and and starting to feel like every active artist on the planet is gonna be trying to perform (hopefully) next year, so you better come up with something good.
I used to think Adele was a dead cert for Coachella but I can’t see it being 2021. Adele will return when she can pull the big numbers and perform at large events again.
Adele and Kanye in the same year just feels a bit too strong

I think it's 50-50 they tour at all next year, based on pure speculation.
Hopefully Oct '21 isn't too optimistic this time...
Mostly looks good, but I majorly scratched my head at Rosalia as a subheadliner or BMTH on the 2nd line. Can't fathom either of those happening, though otherwise, good work.

I'm not even seriously predicting her. But I do love it when you tell people what they're forgetting.

Heard something similar.
Where does the Adele thing come from? Travis seems to be the most likely to return, I could see him drop an album around the time of the festival tbh. It would be 3 years since Astroworld at that point so.
