25% capacity, and there are currently no states in the country that hit the parameters to open Disney right now.
Right. Disney World has been operating at that for months and they haven't had any outbreaks. I suspect they will increase capacity again there soon. Obviously it will take more time in California, but if things go smoothly then it could least be taken as a positive. I agree though that events like festivals should be off the books until we get a vaccine.
thats impossible to know for sure as long as Florida is at 2-3k cases a day

That's certainly hard to attribute to Disney considering all systems are go over there. I'm pretty numb to it all at this point as a teacher in Texas so you will have to forgive me.

Since when is Florida considered a place of competence?
And Foo Fighters walk the line of butt rock as they have played some of those festivals, but its not to say theyre a terrible rock band though. I mean theyre entering the legacy part of their career now. Would we have considered Van Halen as butt rock if they were still active right now? Theyre in the same tier as GnR I would think.

I like Foo Fighters a lot. Agree that they walk the line. Most of the stuff after In Your Honour isn’t all that far removed from these bands we are talking about. I wouldn’t consider anything before Nirvana to be categorized as such as they were the culprit for what came after, so no to Van Halen.
I never put Florida on a pedestal. It’s just an active model of another state operating through this pandemic.
What are the odds of a) Daft Punk actually releases another album (as they've been rumored in the studio) and b) the great return happens at the 2022 comeback?

Yeah, cause they have Vegas on the 8th and LA on the 17th so all possibilities are removed. Could still get some randomness out of it though. Offspring, the ????? act, L7, Body Count.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention this when the butt rock conversation was raging, but my first cat when I was eleven was named Wes after Weses Borland and Scantlin lmao

Are they themed or are they doing full albums? Anything like that?
They were great at ACL a couple years ago. If I had the chance to see them twice near me, and a handful of other decent-to-great hard rock and metal acts like Mastodon and Gojira, I'm definitely not above that.

if they bring a lineup like this to Carolina or Jacksonville, I'll make the road trip for sure

For real, they've got 4 of the top 6 thrash bands, 5 top 10 punk bands, 4 top 10 metalcore bands, and the bonafide #1 nü-metal band. Plus Mastodon, Gojira and Body Count?! I'm in.
