Can someone talk me through a kangaroo being great here?
For starters, they're fucking huge. They're about 6ft tall and can weigh up to 300 lbs. So they're like basically having another human who is all muscle on your side. They're also pretty fast, with speeds up to 45mph. To fight, they use their tails as a third leg allowing them to use their feet and arms to fight. Their go-to move is to use their arms to hold their opponent close while they kick them. Speaking of kicks, if a baseball bat could kill the zombies in this game, the kangaroo's blows would 10000% be deadly. Google tells me that "one kick of lightning speed has a force of 850 PSI." Their kicks are so strong, they can crush the bones of other kangaroos when they box.

So yea. I'm not tryna go up against a kangaroo
and yet when you look at the facts, an anteater which is basically viewed as worthless by most people here is more dangerous...

I know nothing about the anteater and thought they were pretty harmless. Please feel free to school me.
Was hoping you'd make your case for what exactly makes it dangerous like i did, ie. what makes it unique, any physical strengths and characteristics etc. I'm all about learning about animals.

7 feet long, 4 inch claws, they fight off jaguars.
You guys should stop underestimating 1 or 2 swings of a baseball bat. Shit could easily kill a living human
We all already have a human on our team though?
Im just saying a lot of ppl are like “if two baseball swings kills these zombies, they are pretty disposable.” As if thats a low bar to clear. When in reality most animals could not do the damage of a human swung baseball bat in one blow.

Draft 1 Cdev (Rhino, Tiger, Wolverine, Ostrich) vs. NBF (Gorilla, Komodo Dragon, Camel, COCONUT Crab) Gorilla is my favorite on either team, but Tiger is very close in value. Not much drop off. I like that cdev has on of the main tanks plus a quick killer in the tiger. Wolverine and Ostrich are a little overrated but I prefer both to camel and crab.
Jortloo (Bear, Crocodile, Giant Forrest Hog, Anaconda) vs. Monie (Elephant, Kangaroo, Baboon, Seal) I love Monie's squad and narrowly voted for it over Jaz in the seeding voting. I prefer a Grizzly to an Elephant. The best way I can describe it is that if you only had one animal, it would become more clear why the bear is better. If there are two zombies coming left and two coming right, the bear may be able to run left and kill the 2 then get back and time to protect you from the right. You want at least one personal body guard on your team (Big Cat, Gorilla, Bear) to feel safe regardless of circumstance. The tank to act as a bowling ball is the second tier priority in my opinion.
Croc > Kangaroo and I don't think that is controversial.
Since seal doesn't even make a dent in this game, the final matchup is Forrest Hog and Anaconda vs Baboon. While Baboon is better than both of those, I think having the two bodies brings it to a place where the severe mismatch between Croc and Kangaroo is the deciding factor.
Draft 2
JTR (Grizzly Bear, Crocodile, Mandril, Hyena) vs. DE (Hippo, African Crowned Eagle, Moose, Giant Anteater) JTR might have the best team. No tanks, but each of his animals can hold their own without question. If DE had one animal like a croc or something, I'd probably take him, but I don't like his last line of defense after a couple zombies slip through the cracks of his tanks.
Tranter (Lion, Rhino, Ox, Tasmanian Devil) vs. Youcool (Elephant, Komodo Dragon, Horse, Goat) Similar to Cdev: has a nice bodyguard / tank combo. Plus there are two tanks. Not buying that Tasmanian devil does much, but neither does goat.
Cdev (Rhino, Tiger, Wolverine, Ostrich) vs. NBF (Gorilla, Komodo Dragon, Camel, COCONUT Crab) - Gorilla is beast but so is the rhino. Tiger is a superior hunter to the komodo, as is the wolverine. I would take the ostrich over a camel or a crab any day. Jortloo (Bear, Crocodile, Giant Forrest Hog, Anaconda) vs. Monie (Elephant, Kangaroo, Baboon, Seal) - I think that the elephant is a great pick but croc & forrest hog can do more damage than kangaroo & baboon, IMO. I think that both anaconda and seal are pretty much useless in this exercise.
Draft 2
JTR (Grizzly Bear, Crocodile, Mandril, Hyena) vs. DE (Hippo, African Crowned Eagle, Moose, Giant Anteater) - This one is tough but I give the edge to the croc, mandril & hyena over the eagle, moose & ant eater. Tranter (Lion, Rhino, Ox, Tasmanian Devil) vs. Youcool (Elephant, Komodo Dragon, Horse, Goat) - Again, elephant is a winner over lion but rhino & ox are superior to komodo dragon, horse and goat.

The only close one in round one was DE edging Maddog by a single vote.
Round 2
Draft 1
Cdev (Rhino, Tiger, Wolverine, Ostrich) vs. NBF (Gorilla, Komodo Dragon, Camel, COCONUT Crab) - I do want to say that I think the coconut crab was my favourite pick of the game tho. It was arguably the most unique pick and when you read about it's physical capabilities it's a pretty good one too.
