Awesome from NIN to only repeat like 4 songs. Started early finished late. The Strokes wouldve played for 60 mins then Julian wouldve probably threatened to leave.
Waking up early to go run to rail for Metallica! Know several of my MFF friends will be doing the same.
I def preferred the night one NIN set but they were still awesome tonight. getting Perfect Drug night one was just unreal. Otherwise, saw Hinds, Orville Peck, and RTJ. Hinds were awesome, would have been better at a smaller stage. Orville sounded better than he did at Coachella, his voice is so powerful. RTJ was fine but the crowd was dead and the audio was botched. Ofc the evacuation was shit too but all things considered was handled very well.
Tomorrow is incredibly stacked now that im looking it over again. Hoping to do a run tomorrow of

Yesterday was a rollercoaster for me. I managed to get a free VIP 3-Day pass off of someone on Twitter, so that was a nice upgrade. I gave away/miracled my single days to pay it forward.
Started the day with Hinds and Celeste, both of which I really enjoyed. The rain delay and the King Gizzard last-minute cancellation crushed my spirits a bit.
However, I made lemonade out of lemons and caught Orville Peck, Black Pumas, RTJ and NIN - all of which were solid to great imo
Excited to go today, hoping everything goes as scheduled this time. This was my first time at the new venue since they relocated (having gone to a previous edition in Govt Center) and I dug the layout. It was easy to navigate, the art installations were cool and the food options are pretty good.

Caught the end of Julie Rhodes, all of Hinds, and Celisse until it started raining, then made it back in for Orville > Black Pumas > RTJ > NIN. Definitely a stronger day than Friday for me even with all the shit that went wrong, that NIN set was worth it. See you all in a few hours!

Ended up going to see the pre broadway tryout for the new revival of 1776 featuring all women and non binary bodies playing the founding fathers. Fucking awesome, but very excited to get back to the festival today!
Oompa>Peach Tree (maybe)>Horsegirl>Cults>JBrekkie/MM>Glass Animals>Weezer/Goose>Metallica
I am praying to ever entity that I can that River just trolls the crowd and plays the Weezer Metallica album in full.

There are a lot more people here today compared to Friday
i think theres a pretty good chance it reaches capacity today. this reminds me of the Tame day in 2019 and Eminem day in 2018. guess booking a stadium headliner with 2 massive bands and an indie darling former headliner was a smart move
