I mean I'm really out of touch, but there's no way this moves tickets, right?
Itll sell something but I dont think its going to be nearly as succesful as they hope. They dont have any of the big acts they wouldve wanted to have there like MCR.

I cannot stop looking at this lineup. It is so terrible that I am infatuated with it. I have never disliked anything so much yet wanted so desperately to find something redeeming about it. Please send help.

I can't believe this guy had the audacity to mock Adjacent for having "only two headliners," when this festival technically doesnt have any. Trippie Redd and Papa Roach are your headliners? And you think the duo of Blink and Paramore is something to laugh at? Dear god....
I wanted this to succeed so badly, but woof. I have to imagine this gets cancelled in a couple months for low ticket sales. Ah sorry, I meant "logistical issues."

I can respect a terrible lineup, horrible management, and a total villain of a promoter for a New Jersey festival but this being the same price as Bonnaroo is insane. If this was 2 days for $150, go crazy but there’s no way this lineup cost that much to book.

I still can't believe this guy was making fun of Adjacent for "only having two headliners." And mocked their undercard as being "a bunch of bands that play Starland Ballroom every year."
I have no idea who this festival is catered towards. There's no crossover between Papa Roach and A Boogie With Da Hoodie fans. Some decent metal acts on the bill, but does he think people will spend $400 to see them when they can just see them at Wonder Bar for $15? Did he actually spend money on having Oz Pearlman do magic tricks?
If booking Steve Aoki as your headliner in 2023 wasn't funny enough, Aoki is already playing a headlining show in NYC the month before at a 3k capacity venue. So there goes any demand he had.
I can't believe this fest is such a trainwreck. How was there no one over there talking him out of these bad ideas? This is all so hilarious and sad to watch haha Should we start placing bets on when this thing gets cancelled?

I love that bands starting with "The" are listed in the Ts alphabetically, as if they used a Google doc to automatically sort the names and didn't bother making any corrections before slapping them on the poster.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Bizkit has had a bit of a renaissance lately but it feels like they mistyped the market. The Papa Roach critical reappraisal will happen one day soon and there will be a reckoning, but not soon enough to save this fest.

Even so, Limp Bizkit JUST played Atlantic City last May, as well as Madison Square Garden (which severely undersold). And those were both their first tri state area shows in almost 10 years.
I will say I was at that MSG show and it was so much fun, but they just aren't the act people are gonna shell out $400 for and spend a weekend in AC for.
