you don’t like Dua Lipa despite liking Charli? i think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with her live show
I'm not crazy about either, pop music is not at all my thing. Dua is poppier imo, and it seems like Charli is a much more kinetic performer from videos I've seen
This is definitely true, but Dua's "show" is pretty special. I'm not sure what it'll be like at a fest vs an arena, but it rivaled shows I've seen from big divas like Beyonce or Gaga or Shania.

People on here sleeping hard on Dua’s live show. I know it’s popular to hate on the radio pop artists, especially among the crowd going primarily for Green Day & MCR, but Future Nostalgia was an album meant to be played live and her show is a massive dance party with great production and choreography. She killed it at Primavera.

Been lurking for a little, decided to finally contribute a little! Will be at Firefly all 4 days, doing Riot the weekend before and two MCR headlining dates, so a big whirlwind. Def hope that Gryffin closes the show, Lizzo last year being over earlier in the night and with the type of set it was, didn’t leave the fest feeling over.

Totally agree.
I observed really incredible vocals from a distance, then I went back to my campsite and packed up and left...
Was somewhat of an anti-climactic finish to the festival.
I've seen Gryffin's live show many times, and it is exactly what the festival needs as a closer. It will be immaculate.

Its worth it for the single day alone for Dua because you couldnt get Ga floor tix on her arena tour for that price if you tried.

Same with Green Day & MCR. Green Day in particular since they’ve been doing stadiums that sometimes don’t even GA floors.

Yeah I mean I'm excited to go back for the whole weekend which I haven't done since '16. But I bought this ticket for MCR. I know prices have come down a bit, but getting locked out of that first round of ticket sales in January 2020 was traumatic. With the way ticket prices are trending fests are a steal.

My upper deck tickets for Philly MCR were about 2/3s of a weekend at firefly. It is definitely a steal.

I ended up getting tickets to see them in Albany too lower bowl for like $120 each, but after 15 years of wanting to see them It's worth it for me. Especially because it looks like they're varying setlists decently.

So hyped for Dua Lipa, after not being able to get close for her at Primavera she’s easily shot up to my #1 of the weekend.
anyone have any insight into tix sold? really hoping it sold a similar number to Roo so it isnt overcrowded
I'd imagine it'd be similar to last year, at best. Firefly 2015, and the night the Weeknd played in 2017 were the only times I ever felt Firefly was crowded. I don't think you ever need to worry about that here. The festival is spaced pretty well.

Foo Fighters in 2014 is the only time in my life that I've had to hop a barrier to get out of a crowd the amount of people at that set was WILD.

Yea that was probably the only time I ever intentionally got as close to the stage as possible for a headliner (been in VIP ever since LOL). I was maybe 20 rows back. I remember having a guy next to me pick me up to look around for a second right before FF went on. I couldn't see the end of the crowd. I decided that was the first and last time I'd ever do that.
soo who do you guys think is replacing RKS? they cancelled all sept dates as one of the members needs to recover from a med procedure. Just checked and Haley Heynderickx is open Sunday, not quite as big but def similar enough. Wet Leg is also open, gap between sep 16 and oct 4 in their tour schedule
