Yeah.. 35 minutes for mannequin pussy and 30 for Bristol maroney is whack af.. ditching the wonder stage for a rotating main stage was not the right move imo.. although there’s more potential treehouse sets I could catch this year than in previous years, and I do love that stage, especially at night.

I’m honestly really happy with the schedule. My only complaint is Sunday is a little light, and they didn’t have to do Chai dirty like that. Especially when no one is against Griffin.
I forget what year it was maybe 2015 but I went real hard day 1 going back and forth between lawn and main and I was dead the rest of the weekend, so to be able to camp out at basically two stages will be real nice.
Thurs : Michigander, Mannequin Pussy, Unlikely Candidates, 502s, Jungle, 100 Gecs, Jamie XX (this is an AWESOME day)
Fri: Anna of the North, Gus Dapperton, DayGlow, Cold War Kids, Ashnikko, Avril, Indigo De Souza, MCR
Sat: Jordana, Pale Waves, Benny the Butcher, Princess Nokia, H&H, Lo Moon, HAIM, Green Day
Sun: Dorian Elektra, The Regrettes, Girl Talk, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa

I am incredibly aware of the 99% probability that this won't happen, but I'm going to throw it out there anyway. Arctic Monkeys just added that King's Theater show. What if they are going to play a secret set in the Pavilion on Sunday opposite Griffin? (He said laughing at the ridiculousness of his own comment) It just seems very weird to me to not use that space at that time.

Letting this rotating main stage setup sink in, it is truly wild that for every day, except Sunday, the main stage is basically just a giant rotating platform for 8-9 Rock and Alternative bands. It's strange, and it's growing on me. And I also love that the Treehouse is increasing its presence, and that the Backstage has a substantial amount (exactly 10) of artists I'd like to see this year.

Holy shit, this forecast is perfect.. kinda sucks that I'm gonna have to see the first few acts on Thursday in the rain, but at least I won't be exhausted from heat and sunburnt. It would also suck if I weren't commuting everyday though, camping when the low is in the 40's is too much of a pendulum swing from summertime. This will probably be the last year Firefly isn't held in the Summer, and I'm glad I'm gonna be there for it.

Yes, Firefly is held in the summer and no, it isn’t held in the fall.
Only downside to a rotating stage it not having enough time to grab food or go to the restroom and heading back to see the music. Im sure people will like the idea once they see it in action. No lore bug long waits and long anticipation for the most part. Crowd exchanges will be interesting.
