Sweet. I'm still waiting on mine, but I got a shipping notification the other day. I got the app, but it doesn't have much on it yet - just 3 screens with notification preferences and wristband setup. They usually have a pretty good app, so it will be updated in the next few days. They haven't teased the schedule, but I'm hopeful that we'll get some news on either that or one or two of the night shows today or tomorrow. They did have a Channel 26 piece on GLBL WRMNG which is Pell, Kr3wcial and Sleazy EZ.

Im hoping mine comes soon too! It supposedly shipped last week but with Mardi Gras I'd have been surprised if it had shown up but the email I got shows that my ticket was upgraded so I can't wait to see if that's actually the case.

How did you get the upgrade?
TBH I don't think I got an upgrade but all the stuff says a vip ticket was shipped for me even tho I bought ga. The only thing I could see is that because I rolled it over that it was upgraded but I feel like that would have been publicized somewhere so I think its just a glitch

Interesting. Well fingers crossed it isn't a glitch and you got an upgrade!
Mine finally got delivered today. Those nail art sheets are bad ass.
We got Lab Group added/announced today. I know they just did it at Okee. It was originally Charles1st (RIP), potions and Supertask project along with Tiedie Ky and some of their other friends. They put out that EP last year before Charles passed away. Lots of different styles but not ignoring hard shit which is somewhat lacking on the EDM side this year. I read where they are keeping the idea going and donating a bunch of their money to some foundation in honor of Charles.
They also got announced individually at an Of the Trees late night show at The Orpheum which is him, Supertask, Potions b2b Tiedie Ky. That’s only the first night show but I could easily see going to that and staying all night.
Tweet said they’ll be at The Wharf stage. I also saw them announce $B would be closing the new Bridge Stage. It’s probably been a few Bukus since you last went, but they had everything right before the Float Den got hit by the barges. Last couple of years have been a 1/3 size Den with smaller and house shows. They took away the VIP boat and made an area. But I don’t know the new shit yet. Hopefully the map will come out soon. They were doing a new enclosed canopy house tent for one of the cancelled versions, so I don’t know if that’s coming back or not.
Word. It will probably be next week, but they said they would be announcing the rest of the late shows this week. So at least I can work through and see what I want to do as for after parties.
BukuLate Afterparty shows are all announced - just need the map with the new layout, food and schedule to get shit semi-organized. We got a Wakaan takeover at Orpheum, so 100% I'm going to that. Liquid Stranger x2 that weekend automatically boosts up the potential since he's my favorite producer. This year's Buku runs from 2pm to 11pm, so they moved everything up an hour. Night shows should go until dawn. They brought some weird and kickass shit though:

Friday - I dig that TroyBoi/Tokimonsta show. The chance that Troy could do a more grime/trap show gives me some fomo, but like I said, I'm not missing Liquid Stranger. I don't know Canabliss b2b Redrum, so I'll have to dig into them a little. I think Mize was on a cancelled Bonnaroo lineup. I saw him once open for TIpper, and he'll splice in some Three 6 and shit, so that should be cool.
For Saturday, I'm going to take a chance on Of the Trees and that Lab Group friends & relations show. I actually kind of wish that show was Friday, and Wakaan was Saturnday. I'll catch the collaborative Lab Group show at Buku itself, but it will be cool to see them play their own or b2b sets since I haven't seen any of them (Supertask, potions, Tiedye Ky or Of the Trees either). However, I think Allison Wonderland will throw down a good show at the Republic, and then them having ShyGirl do a DJ set to open is pretty cool. I don't get hyped for an Allison show, but she's usually pretty good. And that's a perfect venue for her to go hard except that she's doing a House set which I'm sure will still be pretty badass..
The show at Joy Theater is the black-death-metal show of the weekend with Svdden Death b2b Sullivan King (Mersiv opening). That's going to be a freak show, and it will be hard as shit. Part of me kind of wants to go to that, but I'm going to trust my instincts and go with the Of the Trees show unless some of my family was to want to do the other show.
Schedules got released today (beat me to it ). I haven't completely studied them yet, but I have my general plan of action. It looks like they're going with 4 outdoor stages including the Riverside which is local/small acts. I think I read they were going to sort of do two main stages but not alternating. I didn't like several of the conflicts (Tame Impala/Liquid Stranger/Tierra Whack or Tyler the Creator/Amelie Lens and others), so I'm giving it a C-. Haha. Dicks. There's also a couple other names that weren't on the lineup, so I'll try to figure out what that stuff is.
My general Plan for Friday is A Hundred Drums > Kumarion b2b Reaper > Chee b2b Tsuruda > Wreckno > Troyboi > Lab Group > New Thousand > Bas > 504 ICYGIRL > CloZee > Liquid Stranger/Tame Impala. I'll probably mostly see Tame Impala, but since Liquid Stranger starts 10 minutes earlier, I probably will catch some of that depending on distance from stage to stage. Late Night Show is Wakaan Takeover (Liquid Stranger, Canabliss b2b Redrum and Mize). I heard there's a yet to be announced Friday show at The Joy. If it's something I want to see, it's only a few blocks to Orpheum. So as long as I can at least see Liquid Stranger, I'm willing to get ticks for both and float.
Friday Schedule:
General Plan for Saturday is GLBL WRMNG (Pell, Kr3wcial, $leazy EZ) > Odd the Artist > Tsu Nami > Flo Milli (have Mersiv late show) > Moore Kismet > Vince Staples > Sullivan King > Baby Keem > Maxo Kream/Glass Animals > Kali Uchis > Amelie Lens > Tyler the Creator. Amelie starts 15 minutes before Tyler, so I'll go there first. We decided to go dark for the Saturday late show and get SVDDEN Death b2b Sullivan King.
I probably won't be able to get out from work until around 4, so I will be busting ass to get there for Troyboi. I see myself on Skyline and Bridge mostly.

Since I’m only going Saturday my schedule is Kennyhoopla, Vince Staples, Baby Keem, Glass Animals (hate having to miss Maxo Kream), and Tyler the Creator, I’m sure I’ll walk around check out other artist and stuff around the fest at the gaps i have.

I don't recall ever getting to see Glass Animals, so I'll want to be there. It's hard to know how far apart the stages will be as to whether I can leave mid-show and walk to Maxo and then back to Glass Animals since they end 15 minutes later. The Ballroom isn't that far away from the main area and is the first installation when you're heading downriver from the main outdoor stage/festival area. But where will the Skyline stage be? I'm assuming it will face away from the city (upriver) with the skyline behind it. As long as it's not all the way by the train tracks, it shouldn't be impossible to move. They need that fucking map and the food list (which they said the food list would be coming out soon).

yeah I won’t be leaving though can’t lie i had been trying to go see them on tour and didn’t realize how crazy prices their regular concert tickets were so they’re how I talked my wife into vip for it honestly and was looking at potentially Tyler in Atl at the time. But man can’t wait to be there

Awesome. Only two of my kids are going, but one of them has VIP as well. Me and my daughter did Super VIP because the liquor comes with it. The access to the Grand Oaks Mansion is pretty badass too as there is the food spread there for the performers and guests, and it acts as the Green Room there with a bar and shit. It's out of the way from the rest of the festival, so I'll need a couple gaps to get over there. We'll definitely have to catch up on Saturday. I'm planning to be there at open since I'll be needing to get my money's worth. Haha. This is what the inside of Grand Oaks looks like. It's basically an outdoor bayou scene with a mansion inside of a warehouse installation.

that looks awesome and yeah we’ll definitely have to grab a drink!
Fucking dicks announced another late show that was off the radar. It's free too. I'm still waiting for The Joy's Friday night show. This one is at Toulouse Theatre/One Eyed Jacks:
Classic Juke Joint presented by Reebok with performances by:
Vince Staples Amrit Gale Kendra K.O. Williams Pell
Cullinary and Art Installations by: Broderick Hunter (Model/Actor from California) Harper Watters (soloist with Houston ballet) Lazarus Lynch (author, Chef - two time chopped winner - Son of a Southern Chef) Maxwell Pearce (Activist, Harlem Globetrotter)
Being that it's free, it will hopefully be packed. We'll be several blocks away, so I'm not sure if I'm going to RSVP or not. hive.co/L/Reebok

We really have to normalize calling it the Toulouse Theatre since One Eyed Jacks is still a venue, just at the old BB King's/Margaritaville.
I was hoping to wear a mask like this to the fest but just noticed on the Buku site that full face/head masks are prohibited. For the folks who've attended in the past, do you think security would force me to leave this behind?
Agreed. They wouldn't let you in wearing it, but it doesn't mean you can't put it on later. Also, if security stops you with that, don't be a Karen, but ask to speak with someone higher up. Tell them it's part of a late night costume you need to store in a locker or something. I've looked out over the festival grounds from my office window about 5 times already today. Some canopies are up, but I don't see any stages, and because of the windows, it's hard to get a zoomed in shot of the site. I'll fuck with that later in the week once the stages go up (at least the ones I can see). I really want that fucking map too. There are a couple of interesting food options, which I'll comment on later when I get time.
I know for a fact I have seen people with full face masks on. So I would think that they either had them in a backpack or carried it in. I really think you will be fine.

Awesome, thanks for the tips! Half the reason I chose Buku over Big Ears was that I've only had the chance to use this mask once I figured this would be the better fest to wear it again. Almost threw out my back trying to get it from the back of a storage unit so I would've been super bummed if they wouldn't let me in with it.
Also, didn't realize they offered lockers, but I'm definitely gonna get on that now.
