Shit..rossens out but automatic is a good alternative
I hate that they didnt notify except posting the daily schedule without any context. And with limited phone service who is going to check instagram. Such a bummer
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

I was so confused when I showed up to the block stage this afternoon. Then when I checked the app it still has Rossen on the schedule but also had Buck Meek at the same time.

Anybody catch Dakhabrakha? Maybe it's the shrooms talking, but I'd put that up there among the best sets I've ever seen. So damn good.
Sleaford Mods and Fuzz also killed it. Had to head out a little early due to a minor injury in the group, but hoping I can still hear the closing ceremonies jam from camp. All in all, another Daze for the books!

Just got out of Daze campgrounds and driving back to SD. What a wild weekend, but man I'm starting to feel I'm getting to old for this shit haha
I had a blast as always. Top sets of the wknd for me were King Gizzard, Slift, The Marias, Fuzz, Kikagaku Moyo, Men I Trust, Viagra Boys, Pond, and Shame. The Armed were great too, but felt stupid weird watching them with the 100 peeps or so that were there. So much energy, but so few there to dish it back out.
Also was cool meeting Deadbob at the fest! Tried meeting up and find a couple more of ya, but it was super difficult with the shitty cell service and all.

Finally home! Thursday and Friday were rough for me with the camping situation and the really long walk to the festival and the lack of ada platforms, but their shuttles to and from camp really helped me big-time!
My top 5:
Kikagaku Moyo. Just an amazing group if people playing amazing music. Glad I caught them this weekend and at the 2021 show.
The Marias. I saw them on the Coachella steam but I really want expecting that level of swank. Great set all around
Tame Impala. Lonerism is such a great album and seeing it live was a treat. I didn't have any issues with any one that came in just for tame like many of us expected so credit where credit is due.
Beach House. I just really love them and I don't care if every set is nearly the same set.
Cymande. Just a chill vibe for a Friday afternoon.
Viagra Boys. Never listened to them but since the beach stage was basically listening to Chicano Batman during Cortex set I decided to head over and finish there and stayed for Viagra Boys. I guess it worked out ok since I really enjoyed them. The story about a shrimp was something lol
One day I'll meet more of you but it was cool meeting tewentytwo and youcoolman69! Also great seeing gazer again and waving at supЯefan. Plus a bunch of other Coachella message board folks!
Fuck, I didn't rank Kikagaku Moyo! Put them at the top and shift everyone else down.
Amazing weekend! I had a great time with the people the venue and the music, no complaints from me overall (except the sound bleed on the Beach stage which could be mitigated by moving to the far right of the stage).
My top 10 Gizz Tame BBNG Fuzz Kikagaku Cortex Divide and Dissolve Slift Dakhabrakha Beach House
runners up: BCNR . Soul Glo . John Carroll Kirby . Seun Kuti . Automatic . Shame . Reggie Watts but all the bands I saw were great!
Anyone else feel like Iggy would have been really strange programming last night?
Naw, it wouldve been a party to close out instead of a dream wave hangout. Frankie and The Witch fingers did I Wanna Be Your Dog and The Armed were repping Detroit as they should be. Question is, if the fest comes back, does he get a do over.

I would have preferred Iggy by a longshot. I thought Beach House was pretty boring. It was fine though we went back to camp and I got a solid night's sleep before the long drive today.
I just unrolled my posters and they're kinda awful. The tame one almost seems like a knockoff. And the kikugaku one feels really thin like something you'd post at a record shop. They got balls charging as much as they do for these

I got the Iggy one and the 3 daily line up posters, not upset about my selection this year, but the lack of poster art was a real bummer. I'm a bit of a poster junky and the poster art from this fest was something I always looked forward to.
Also felt like I got lucky getting my Iggy poster. I pre-ordered it off Big Cartel and they didn't have my name on the pre-order list when I tried to get it on Fri. I went to the merch tent last night and explained everything to a manager there and she got me sorted.

I'm also big on posters and spend way to much money framing then at this place called further frames in Denver. None of these are worth spending money on. Luckily I have a decent kiku poster from 2019 that I framed. Big waste of money if I don't end up hanging these

Just got back to Atlanta. Had a great fest that was made better by meeting several of yall. It's a long quest but for the right lineup I would definitely come back. They need to figure out how to handle the Uber/Lyft situation for the future but overall I thought it was pretty well run. Some of the best fest food I've had, especially for vegetarians. Aldous Hardings set was good but her not playing The Barrel took that set from a top one of the weekend to me now resenting her lol.
1. Tame Impala (big surprise. wasn't hype for this and it blew me away) 2. Dakhabraka - The other big surprise of the weekend. Had planned to slip away for the Marias but couldn't be torn away. So good 3. Gizz 4. jpegmafia 5. Sleaford Mods 6. Charlotte Adigery 7. Shame 8. Viagra Boys 9. BCNR 10. Beach House
